Huge games against Liberty this week. Sweet ticket deals available for the home game; come out for some great college hockey on Thursday night.

Huge win over a really good Liberty team. Fell behind twice and found a way back. Not going to win a ton of games with only 14 shots, but the Pack capitalized on the chances they did get. The 3rd period was especially impressive in how we extended the lead and locked things down the rest of the way. Tawyer was rock solid in net after a couple tough early goals. The Pack will hit the road for another matchup with Liberty tomorrow night. Would be great to sweep this 2 game set.

Tough one. Liberty gets a breakaway goal to win it with 50.6 seconds left. Pack played well. Addison Lawrence is going to be the #1 guy in net going forward. Dude is an absolute stud. Pack won the shootout and take home the Wagon Wheel Trophy after the teams split the 2 games, so that's nice.

Pack will be back home next Thursday night against UNC Wilmington.

Easy win despite the Pack looking quite sloppy at times tonight. Just one of those games where we can win pretty easily just by being the more talented team. Not a ton of those on the schedule, so nice to pick up a stress free win.

Pack will hit the road for a 3 game showcase in Louisville next weekend before returning home to face UNC on Oct. 27.

Big weekend coming up against 3 good TSCHL teams. Opportunity for some revenge against Kentucky and a huge one Sunday against Indiana, who I believe is one of the few teams who can make a run at an autobid (top 2 regional ranking) to Nationals out of the southeast region. Think Florida Gulf Coast is more or less a lock for the #1 seed, with Liberty and Indiana looking good so far as well. We certainly get into the conversation with a sweep this weekend, but we definitely can't afford to mess up the rest of the way. Should be some great hockey this weekend; as of now the only way to watch is via LiveBarn, but I'll provide updates if they become available.

Solid effort from the Pack tonight. Aside from a couple bad minutes in the 1st, a weird bounce from behind the net, and a goal that didn't actually go in the net, this one was all Pack. Great start to the weekend.

Best way to watch is via LiveBarn (Iceland - North Rink) if you're already subscribed. Kentucky has a stream as well, but it's $10 for the 4 hour window after you start watching; a very low value option, but still cheaper than a LiveBarn subscription. The game will not start at 5pm, the UNC vs. Louisville game on the same rink has about 3 minutes left in the 3rd and may be headed for OT. Wouldn't expect to start until at least 5:30.

Livebarn is your option to watch this one (Iceland - South Rink). Hopefully we're better than yesterday.

Buy your tickets in advance and get there early.

Nick Shook wins it with 1:07 left in OT! Pack did it the hard way tonight, but that's a game last year's team probably loses. Nice to get some momentum heading into next weekend in DC.

Big opportunity this weekend to create separation in the ACCHL standings and make a statement with the first ACHA rankings being released next week.

Penn State - definitely the toughest opponent left on the schedule. The Pack split 2 on the road with the Lions in late September, thought the Pack were the better team in both games. Think our defense is starting to figure things out with the emergence of Andrew Throndson. Winning the season series against these guys will help tremendously with our position in the rankings.

Maryland - absolute dumpster fire of a team this year. Would be a disaster if we lose to these guys again like last year.

Rowan - not entirely sure what to make of this team. Watched them against UNC and Penn State earlier this season and while the games were fairly close, they looked SLOW and didn't seem to have a ton of skill guys. If we want to win the ACCHL and have a shot to make it to Nationals, this is a team we absolutely need to beat.

Tough one last night. Led 2-1 with 10 minutes left and gave up a pair of late goals. 2nd period was terrific, 3rd period was awful. Just need this team to put 60 good minutes together.

Not a terrible effort, just ran into the luckiest team on the planet tonight. But we still need to be better; Maryland is a terrible team. We'll wrap up the weekend with Rowan tomorrow afternoon, who has looked awful all weekend. Would be great to see the boys put things together and smoke these guys. We'll see.

Tough weekend. Same deal as Saturday, got absolutely zero puck luck. We're also just not a good road team this year. Thankfully we'll be at home for the rest of the semester. Back at it next weekend against Texas A&M.

Pack finally break out with 5 goals in the final 13 minutes to overcome a 2 goal deficit. Wasn't the prettiest game, but nice to finally see a few go in the net. Maybe this get the offense going. Back at it against these guys again tomorrow.

This one was sloppy early, but the Pack ended up putting together a solid 60 minutes, getting scoring from all 4 lines. A solid "get right" weekend for the boys.

* Team not in good standing

What does this mean in regards to post season play?

Essentially means the team doesn't have all their ducks in a row with regard to administrative paperwork (payment of player dues, submission of player eligibility forms, not submitting gamesheets in a timely manner, etc.). Some teams are way better at managing this than others; there are some fines for late paperwork, but you're good for postseason eligibility as long as everything is resolved by the final rankings release. You do get docked in rankings points if you play with ineligible players (think it's 0.25 points per player per game, which is not insignificant when you look at the numbers).
