NC State continues its stretch of season-opening home games this weekend as it hosts the Preseason WNIT in Raleigh. The Wolfpack is set to take on Wofford (Friday, Nov. 12 at 7 p.m.), Florida (Sunday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m.) and Towson (Monday, Nov. 15 at 7 p.m.) over a four-day span of round-robin action.

The fifth-ranked NC State women's basketball team continues its season-opening stretch of home games over the weekend as it welcomes Wofford, Florida and Towson to Raleigh for the 2021 Preseason WNIT.

The tournament is a round-robin format with the squads facing every team once over the course of four days. NC State serves as one of two hosts, the other being Kansas State. Following the weekend, the Wolfpack will host the Wildcats on Friday, Nov. 19 for the final game of the tournament.

SERIES HISTORY (NC State leads 2-1)
Friday marks the fourth overall meeting between NC State and Kansas State. The teams met for the first time in November of 1999.
All three of the previous matchups in the series were tournament games played at neutral sites during non-conference play.
NC State won the first two meetings with Kansas State in 1999 (73-72) and 2013 (77-60), but the Wildcats won the most recent matchup in 2016 (67-50).
