NC State competed at the ACC Virginia Beach Challenge on Monday, posting multiple top-10 program marks in addition to marks that rank in the top 20 in the nation.

SPRINTS
In the women's 60m, Mia D'Ambrosio (7.71), Akira Rhodes and Ally Henson qualified for the finals. Henson ran a 7.85 in the finals while Rhodes tabbed a 7.88.

Rhodes and Henson both competed in the 60m hurdles, qualifying for the finals. Rhodes posted a second-place finish with an 8.56 and was followed in the standings by Ally Henson (8.70).

The men were successful in the 60m hurdles as well, taking first and second place. Cameron Murray claimed the win with a 7.96, and Josh Brockman recorded a personal-best 7.99 that was good for a second-place finish.

Von Douglas ran a PR in the men's 60m, taking home second place with a 6.89.

In the women's 200m, D'Ambrosio competed for the first time. The freshman tabbed a 24.79 and a third-place finish.

JUMPS
The men's long jump saw a pair of podium finishes for the Wolfpack by Von Douglas (tie for first place) and Chris Alexander (third place). Douglas set a personal-best 24'10.5" (7.58m), and Alexander posted a 23'0.75" (7.03m).

On the women's side, Jirah Sidberry jumped 18'4.25" (5.59m) for a third-place finish.

Chris Alexander's personal-best 51'8.5" (15.76m) mark earned him a first-place finish in the triple jump. The jump sits at fifth-best in NC State history and is the second-best in the ACC. It additionally checks into the top-15 nationally at twelfth.

DISTANCE
Elly Henes claimed first place in the women's 3000m, setting a personal best with a time of 9:03.43. The mark is the second-best in program history as well as third-best in the country and best in the ACC. The second-best time in the conference sits at 10 seconds slower than Henes' mark.

Also in the women's 3000m, Savannah Shaw tabbed a third-place finish (9:27.89) while Julia Zachgo set a PR of 9:37.70.

In the women's 5000m, Hannah Steelman's 15:47.43 was good for a first-place finish as well as the third-best time in program history. The time is the third-best in the NCAA and the best in the ACC.

Henes claimed second in the 5000m (15:49.96), and sophomore Kelsey Chmiel tabbed third place (6:12.76). Henes' time is fourth-best in the nation and second-best in the conference while Chmiel's is the tenth-highest in the country and the fifth-highest in the ACC.

Four Wolfpack men set PRs in the 3000m. Joe Bistritz recorded the fastest time for NC State with an 8:06.23, followed closely by Hannes Burger's 8:06.60. JP Flavin (8:17.70) and Gavin Gaynor (8:21.41) both recorded personal-best times as well.

THROWS
Kayla Beasley earned a second-place finish in the shot put with a throw of 42'1.25" (12.83m). Emily Shain improved her best shot put mark with a 38'6" (11.73m).

The NC State track and field team saw a full day of competition on Friday, competing at the Tiger Paw Invite in Clemson, S.C.

SPRINTS
Both of NC State's competitors in the men's 60m hurdles qualified for the finals, with sophomore Josh Brockman setting a PR in the preliminaries that he tied in the finals (9.86). Brockman tabbed a second-place finish in the event while Cameron Murray claimed third place with a time of 7.94.

Brockman's time is third-best in the ACC and additionally ties him for the 19th-best time in the country. Murray's time also checks into the top five in the ACC at fifth.

On the women's side, Ally Henson tabbed a personal best in the 60m hurdles with a time of 8.55. Freshman Imunique Archie also earned a PR at the meet, posting a 7.87 in the 60m.

JUMPS
Von Douglas led the way for the Wolfpack in the men's long jump, earning a second-place finish with a personal-best 25'4.75" (7.74m) mark. The jump is the fourth-best in program history. Douglas' mark additionally checks in at eighth-best in the NCAA and the second-best in the ACC.

DISTANCE
Ares Epps competed in the Wolfpack's only distance event of the day, clocking a personal-best 4:14.55 in the men's mile.

The NC State track and field team saw its second day of action at the Tiger Paw Invite on Saturday, its second to last weekend of competition before the Indoor ACC Championships.

SPRINTS
Ally Henson set a personal best in the 200m, marking her second PR of the weekend. Henson ran a 25.71 in the event.

JUMPS
Senior Michelle Cobb earned a podium finish in the women's triple jump, claiming second place with a 42'4.25" (12.91m).

RELAYS
NC State's women's 4x400m relay team of Mia D'Ambrosio, Alexis Postell, Imunique Archie and Caroline Lewis posted the fastest 4x400m relay time of the season for NC State with a 3:56.21.

CAMEL CITY INVITE
Sophomore Kelsey Chmiel competed in the women's 5000m at the Camel City Invite, earning a second-place finish with a time of 15:58.22. The sophomore's time was good for the fourth-best mark in program history and the 11th-best time in the nation. The mark additionally checked in at third-fastest in the ACC.

Katelyn Tuohy, Alexis Postell, Anna Vess and Elly Henes made up NC State's women's DMR team at the meet and posted a time of 11:15.90. That mark was also good for the fourth-best in NC State history. Currently, the time is second-best in the conference and 10th-best in the NCAA.

VIRGINIA TECH CHALLENGE
Mikieja Covington earned a first-place finish in the women's 60m hurdles, running an 8.67 to set a season-best mark.

Rounding out NC State's podium finishes on the day was junior Kayla Beasley, who posted a 55'3.5" (16.85m) in the women's weight throw to earn third place in the event.

The NC State track & field team finished its regular-season slate on Saturday, wrapping up action at the Virginia Tech Challenge and Camel City Invite.

CAMEL CITY INVITE
Hannah Steelman posted the biggest performance of the day for the Wolfpack as she competed in the women's elite 3000m. The senior recorded a 9:05.33 to take second place at the meet. The time checked into the national rankings at No. 11 and the ACC rankings at No. 2.

In the women's mile, Savannah Shaw tabbed third place. The junior's time of 4:42.38 was her season-best and put her at fifth in ACC.

VIRGINIA TECH CHALLENGE
Senior Michelle Cobb posted a first-place effort in the women's triple jump with a 43'2.5" (13.17m). The jump was Cobb' season best and put her at No. 15 in the nation as well as third in the conference.

The NC State track & field teams kicked off their outdoor seasons Thursday at the Raleigh Relays.

THROWS
Timara Chapman posted a pair of PRs in throwing events, tabbing an 11.98m (39'3.75") in the shot put in addition to a 36.13m (118'6") in javelin.

SPRINTS
Akira Rhodes advanced into the finals of the women's 100m hurdles, running a 13.51 that was the third-fastest time of the day. The mark additionally ties the 17th-fastest time in the country and fourth-best in program history.

On the men's side, Cameron Murray qualified for the 110m hurdles finals with a time of 13.94(+2.6) that was the second-best overall mark in the event.

In the men's 100m prelims, Cravont Charleston ran the fastest time of the day with a 10.24(+3.1) over two-tenths of a second faster than the second-quickest time. The time was good to send him to Saturday's finals.

Alan Alvarez also qualified for the finals with a 10.57(+3.1), the fourth-best time in the event.

DISTANCE
Redshirt senior Joe Bistritz clocked a personal-best 3:49.30 in the men's 1500m and was the highest finisher for the Wolfpack in the event.

Hannes Burger posted the fastest time for the NC State men in the 5000m with a 13:51.86 that was additionally a personal best. His mark is 10th-best in the NCAA.

Sophomore Kelsey Chmiel took second in the women's 10000m, running a 33:40.20. The mark is the second-fastest in the nation.

JUMPS
Senior Michelle Cobb took home the gold medal in the women's triple jump with a mark of 12.73m (41'9.25").

In the men's triple jump, Chris Alexander tabbed a second-place finish. He jumped 15.67m (51'5") to secure the podium placement. The mark ties the eighth-highest jump in program history.

DISTANCE
Freshman Katelyn Tuohy and sophomore Nevada Mareno each posted top-10 marks in the nation in the women's 1500m, taking fourth and sixth in the race, respectively.

Tuohy's time of 4:16.76 ranks fourth in the nation and is additionally the fourth-fastest time in program history. Mareno ran a personal-best 4:17.32 to replace her own fifth-best mark in NC State history. Her time additionally is sixth-best in the NCAA.

In the women's 5000m, Savannah Shaw tabbed a third-place finish. She was the top finisher among the Wolfpack women with a mark of 15:40.37, good for the third-fastest time in NC state history.

Mariah Howlett posted a personal-best 16:33.74 in the event.

RELAYS
NC State began the day with a top-10 program mark as Ally Henson, Akira Rhodes, Imunique Archie and Mia D'Ambrosio ran a 46.24 that ranks ninth in NC State history.

The Wolfpack men clocked the third-fastest time in the country in the men's 4x100m, the team of Alan Alvarez, Von Douglas, Junpai Dowdy and Cravont Charleston posting a 39.66 to take first place.

Alexis Postell, D'Ambrosio, Archie and Brandi Hughes closed out the meet with the 10th-best women's 4x400m time in program history with a 3:49.23.

DISTANCE
Anna Vess began the distance competition for the Wolfpack, posting a personal-best 2:13.09 in the women's 800m.

Sarah LaTour clocked the third-fastest program time in the women's 3000m steeplechase, posting a third-place finish with a 10:04.64 mark. Her time is third-quickest in the NCAA.

SPRINTS
Rhodes competed in the final of the women's 100m hurdles, posting a PR of 13.30 that is the fourth-best time in NC State history and the ninnth-best in the country.

Cameron Murray tabbed a second-place finish in the men's 110m hurdles final, posting a 13.78 in event. His mark is the fifth-fastest in program history and is the seventh-best time in the nation.

In the men's 100m final, Charleston ran a 10.10 that set a slew of records. The mark was his personal best and additionally set new meet and facility records. His time is second-fastest in the country and second-fastest in NC State history.

D'Ambrosio wrote her name in the record book in the women's 200m, running a 24.56 that was the ninth-fastest mark in NC State history.

Charleston followed up his 100m records with a 200m performance that also improved the meet and facility records. His time of 20.37 is fastest in the NCAA and is good for the fifth-best mark in the Wolfpack record book.

JUMPS
Douglas posted a gold medal-winning performance in the long jump, recording a 7.53m (24'8.5") that is the 10th-best mark in the country. Murray also participated in the event and took third place with his jump of 7.22m (23'8.25").

Graduate student Cravont Charleston has been named ACC Co-Track Performer of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Wednesday. Charleston shares the honor with Notre Dame's Yared Nuguse.

The Charlotte, N.C., native broke meet and facility records in the 100m and 200m at Raleigh Relays, running a 10.10 in the 100m that additionally was a personal-best mark and the fastest in the ACC. The time replaced his own second-best mark in program history in the NC State record book.

In the 200m, Charleston ran a 20.37 that checked in as the fifth-best time in NC State history. The mark was the fastest by an ACC runner in 2021 and was a new personal record.

Charleston rounded out his Raleigh Relays competition as the anchor of the 4x100m relay. The group ran a 39.66 that ranks 11th nationally and is the quickest 4x100m relay by an ACC team.
