After experiencing so many close losses in the out of conference games, this team is showing real improvement in tight situations. Nice clutch comeback in that 2nd game! Keep it going, Ladies!!

Finally, after many years, our front row has the size and athleticism of a top 20 program. Next step in becoming a contending national program is to increase the speed and athleticism of our back row. That's what separates us from the good Big 10, Big XII, and SEC teams.

Should have another 2-0 weekend next Friday and Sunday to go to 8-0 before a tough 4 game road trip. If you're in the Triangle, even if you're not a big volleyball fan, you should check these girls out. They can play.

Did we ever get the story on injuries?

Haven't seen or heard a word. I was hoping they would say something on today's telecast. But, Bob Rathbun was handling those duties. I swear, I'm not sure he's ever seen a volleyball match before, much less called one.

Back to Melissa...we need her back. 6-1 Jr Teni Sopitan has filled in admirably and is another with freakish leaping ability. But, she's really a Middle and being forced to play Opposite.
