The NC State women's basketball team (16-5, 5-3 ACC) picked up its fourth consecutive Atlantic Coast Conference victory on Thursday evening at Wake Forest, defeating the Demon Deacons by a final score of 82-68.
Led by a season-high 20 points from sophomore
Aislinn Konig, four total Wolfpack players scored 13+ points in the win. Konig was 5-11 from distance while teammates
Kaila Ealey (16 points),
Chelsea Nelson (15 points and 10 rebounds), and
Kiara Leslie (13 points) also had very strong offensive showings.
The Wolfpack shot 27-57 (.474) from the field in the win and went 9-23 (.391) from distance. Wake Forest shot a solid 26-58 (.448) from the field and was led offensively by 19 points on 8-12 shooting from Alex Sharp and 17 points (4-7 shooting from distance) by Ariel Stephenson.
