"Curious if there are more people here that are interested in non-revenue sports.."

dj, yours were always the most informative posts regarding tourney selection predictions on the other site. I always read your posts and appreciated your diligence in providing useful info for the olympic sports. This site chose to keep these topics in the main free board; so, they do suffer somewhat, but there is definitely interest in those sports here. Please continue to share your insights here!

The No. 21 NC State women's soccer team (14-5-1) will make history Saturday afternoon when it hosts its first-ever NCAA Championship matchup at Dail Soccer Stadium. The Wolfpack will take on Arkansas (11-10-2) at 1 p.m. in the first round of the tournament, and the contest will be broadcast on ESPN3.

TICKETS
Tickets can be purchased at GoPack.com/BuyTickets, and are $8 for adults and $5 for students and children. NC State Athletics is covering the cost for the first 200 students in attendance. Gates open at 12 p.m.

A WIN ON SATURDAY WOULD BE
-The 15th win of the season.
-The 10th time the program has advanced out of the NCAA First Round. NC State would play the winner of the Princeton vs. Monmouth match Nov. 17.
-The program's second win in its all-time series with Arkansas. The teams last met in 1993 in Raleigh.

SCOUTING ARKANSAS
The Razorbacks, who are currently receiving votes for the United Soccer Coaches Poll, recently made a run to the SEC Championship final where they lost to Texas A&M 2-1 on Nov. 5. Arkansas defeated Ole Miss, South Carolina and Vanderbilt en route to the championship match.

Parker Goins paces the team with nine goals and seven assists (25 points), while eight other players are multi-goal scorers. Goalkeeper Jordan Harris has played 17 matches in goal for the Razorbacks, owning an 8-6-2 record. She's tallied 48 saves and eight shutouts, allowing 13 goals this season.

It's great for the Men to make it back to the tourney. Thank you AD Yow for going out and getting us a sound coach. Congrats to all the coaches and to the team! Now let's get a tourney win and build this program!

Men had a remarkable season in Coach's first year ending in a first round loss in the tourney. Thanks for the efforts and congrats on your successes this year. Y'all now have NCAA tourney experience to build on for next year. Time to get back to work.

Sustaining just its first loss in regulation since September 29, the NC State men's soccer team (8-6-4) saw its historic 2017 season come to an end Thursday evening against No. 25 Old Dominion, as the Wolfpack fell 2-0 to the Monarchs at the ODU Soccer Complex.

Goals on both sides of halftime by Brandon Perdue (33') and Max Wilschrey (72') proved the difference in a contest that was very compact and defensive in the first half but opened up over the course of the final 45 minutes with the Wolfpack pressing forward in an attempt to record an equalizing goal.
