Thanks to sophomore Tziarra King's goal in the final minute of play, the No. 24/23 NC State women's soccer team earned its first win of the season against a conference opponent on Thursday evening as it defeated Boston College 1-0.

The Wolfpack improves to 8-1-1 (1-0-1 ACC) while the Eagles fall to 7-4-0 (1-1-0 ACC).

The No. 30/21 NC State men's soccer team (3-2-1, 1-1-0 ACC) continues its march through one of the most challenging schedules in the nation on Saturday evening by hosting No. 4/6 Wake Forest. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Dail Soccer Stadium with live coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

Saturday's match will mark NC State's third contest against a team ranked within the national top five during the first month of the 2017 season.

The No. 30/21 NC State men's soccer team fell to visiting No. 4/6 Wake Forest Saturday evening, losing by a final score of 3-0.

NC State (3-3-1, 1-2-0 ACC) held a 3-2 advantage in shots as the teams went into halftime scoreless, but Wake Forest (8-1-1, 3-0-0 ACC) scored three goals in a span of eight minutes during the second half to take control of the match.

NC State returns to action at home on Tuesday, Sept. 26 when UNC Asheville visits Raleigh. Kickoff between the Wolfpack and Bulldogs is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.

NC State returns to action on Friday evening when it plays No. 5/5 UNC-Chapel Hill at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. with live video coverage provided by ACC Network Extra.
