*****Today's item is a NC State football signed by Wolfpack legend Ted Brown!Regarded by many as the best football player to ever wear the Red and White, Ted Brown had a stellar four-year career at NC State. The 1975 ACC Rookie of the Year finished his career as the league's all-time leading rusher (4,602 yards), a record that still stands 35+ years later. Brown also held the ACC's career rushing touchdowns mark (49), but Pitt's James Conner broke that record in 2016 (52).
Brown's best season came in 1978 when he rushed for 1,350 yards and 11 touchdowns while being named a consensus first-team All-American. He was drafted by Minnesota with the No. 16 overall pick in the 1979 NFL Draft and played eight seasons in the league.
He is still the only player in ACC history to be named to the first-team All-ACC Football team for four consecutive seasons.
