Was at the store this morning to refill my gin and got a bottle of Heaven Hill grain to glass. It was crazy expensive but decided to give it a go. Has a pretty high rye content so I wonder I'll like it.

Opened an Elijah Craig single barrel for the game last night. Not a barrel proof one, just a 9 year private pick I picked up, can't go too heavy on a Thursday night. It was pretty good.

Out of all the distilleries that I've been to up there its my favorite. Of course the view at the Wild Turkey distillery is one of the best I've ever seen in personcaribbeansoul said:
If anyone finds themselves in Lexington, KY, you should check out Town Branch distillery. It's a small operation but they have several good offerings...some of them you can only get at the distillery.

Im visiting Raleigh soon and am hoping to find a bottle. I found a link online to try and see where there stocked but unfortunately it didnt work. Are they readily available to buy at ABC stores?

All I can tell you is they had a pretty good supply at the ABC on US1 in Youngsville.

My work used to take me by that ABC store, they seemed to be very well stocked with a nice variety of bourbon.

They weren't exactly first in line to snag Savage Rye, I had to wait awhile. I hope it really benefits the collective, given what my spouse would say about how much I spend on it, ha ha.
