I honestly don't know a *ton* about him personally, but I'm pretty involved in NBA Draft talk on Twitter and a few really smart people who I trust view him as a one-and-done, potential lottery pick type player, and one of the clear top 10-20 players in this high school class. He's not a true point guard - more of a combo, but he definitely has some playmaking in him. I think LJ is pretty similar in that sense.

I'm really not expecting LJ to contribute a whole lot next year, though; I don't think he's playing anywhere this season, so it'll have been over a year since he played competitive basketball by the time he comes to State. There will be a pretty big learning curve there. Meanwhile, Mintz might be an immediate starter if he were to come to Raleigh.

He's already 20 so he's too old to play at the high school or prep level; he likely would've enrolled early, but we self-imposed a scholarship ban. Apparently he's just training in Florida right now

His shot isn't broken IMO, he just needs practice. Which is what he'll TONS of as a professional.

I don't think this is necessarily true - you just need to be able to keep a defender occupied. Seabron has 46 more attempts and 13 more makes at the rim than the next closest player in college basketball, and he's also top 15 in free throw attempts. He's the best player in the country at getting to and finishing at the rim, and one of the best at drawing contact, both of which matter a LOT in the NBA

Shooting will obviously raise his ceiling a lot, but his teammates will also be able to shoot significantly better in the NBA, so the spacing will help him get into the lane even more

He's 30ish or younger from Cary (Green Hope grad), Duke fan, that went to SCar. He's been trying to get into the journalism game for a while but he's still just a blogger type. To his credit he keeps pumping out content.
