Hayes has nice lift on his floater in the lane, which is enough to score in high school, but otherwise he lacks the ball handling skills, passing skills, vision, and decision making to excel in the ACC. Plus, his attitude is straight garbage.

We will be brining in atleast 5 transfers this off-season. Pass will play point. As will Smith. I know Seabron is on some draft boards as late first rounder, but unless he shows improvement shooting, he's a second round pick at best. There's a chance he's back but I bet it depends on what Keats can do in the portal. He will not come back unless he thinks they can win.

Also, other than Smith, who will be our second and third scoring options, capable of double-digit production against ACC defenses? Right now we have three: Smith, Seabron, and Hellems…and we are still one spot from DFL.

I agree this is what it will come down to. Keatts has GOT to bring in talent via the portal this off-season. His job may depend on it

It's one thing to say he's not a good player at this level. There's clear objective evidence that he's got bad vision, ball-handling skills, low bball iq, etc. However, going after his character like this is extremely unfair. You're making him out to seem like he doesn't care about his teammates and you don't have any evidence of that outside of what you think you're seeing on TV.
Great team win today. I really hope Cam Hayes can get it together soon, having someone like him when he's feeling it could be great for this team
I kinda wish they'd play Cam exclusively at the 2 now. He's got the size and a decent enough shot. It may get his game right, but who knows.

Man, this year is so frustrating because we are one Manny Bates away from being a tournament team. With how great Seabron is playing and Baby T has developed, we have 2 legit superstars and a great 3rd option in Hellems. The black hole that is our inside game is what's absolutely killing us.

Could you imagine a backcourt of Terquavion, Mintz, and Dillingham? Unstoppable . Though we still need some beef in the front court, a strong power toward.
As to this year's roster…if Bates was healthy, and we would be a tournament team. If we had added that guy from UVA we went after, we could have been Sweet 16.

Add in Ross and Phillips plus a couple more legit recruits and transfers and this team could win something in a couple years. I worry the fanbase may be to impatient
I'm not *super* convinced T will be here past next year, and Mintz has a shot at being a one-and-done as well. But any combination of two of them would be an insane backcourt

Does Wheeler even play? Withers is having a worse sophomore slump than Cam Hayes and we (fans) apparently want Hayes to leave. Is Withers any better than Gantt at this point?
About the only dude I'd want is Ellis and he's not exactly killing it either. There's also Mike James, 6'6 kid that's hurt and hasn't played. He's got the unknown on his side.
