Once in 2 years. The past two years had a canceled tourney and then short offseason. I believe guns and roses said it best.. Have a little patience.

Patience for what? Not like we're currently building anything here unfortunately.

This is hilarious to me. He hasn't had a losing record in the conference in his 4 years here, but I guess everyone has forgotten how tough the acc is. Most coaches get chewed up and spit out by this conference. Let's put this into prospective, let's talk about our last four coaches in conference after 4 years.
Herb- never finished 500 in conference:
Sid- never finished above 6-10
Gott- All at or over 500 seasons (lucky to get in the tournament 2 of the 4 times) Last team in twice.
Keatts- All at or over 500. (Unlucky with tournament 2 years) would have made the tournament in 2020 and should have made it in 2019 if it weren't for the UNC narrative.
Let's see if Kevin's year 5 and 6 looks like the Gott man or if he can turn the corner like Herb did in year six. I really feel like KK is on the edge of something great. I think if he can keep coach Mike here we can build something huge here. Keatts can truly identify talent. So many of the guys we were close on have been nba players (Bey, Pat Williams, Hall, leque) He clearly can spot good players early, we just have to get one of campus. This team will be really good this year, just a gut feeling

I understand what you're saying, but there's a few questions I have. How can you attribute luck to gottfried but unlucky to Keatts? The facts are the facts. Keatts has made the tournament 1 time, and things don't look good for him making it this year (on paper). Gott was better than that, tourney wise.
And how do you see keatts on the verge of something great? I see us on the verge of perennial .500 ball. We recruit like a mid major, and our in game coaching is weak. Where do you see the breakthrough coming if we can't land any single impact recruit?

The reason why I feel like he's going to break through is simple, our two best players are 4th year Guys in Manny and Cole. I feel each of them will take a good leap in improvement and they were our two best players down the stretch last year. Two, Cam will be our no questions asked point guard. With a full offense and his muscle gain he should be able to finish in the lane at a higher level to go with his elite mid range jumper. Third, I feel we have appropriate depth this year and more versatile of positions. Lastly, Baby T feels like he's going to be Keatts' Julius Hodge. That kid is vastly underrated as a recruit and he is the type of leader you don't see in this day and age. He might only average 8-10 points per game, but his energy and intensity will win us a game or two we shouldn't win.

Another one from Cory. Give Cory all the shot you want but he cares about that % so if it's this late then he's sure
I really don't like Cory either but recruitments change and he's not just gonna keep his pick the same when momentum shifts on a playernryanh94 said:Packfan8 said:RDUwolfpack said:11/18.justinxxll said:

His reaction was weak af. Just own it and move on. Everyone that pays an ounce of attention knows those "balls" are BS. He's got his nickname for a very good reason. Then don't put one in to begin with . My gripe is constantly going in and changing it once it's been decided where the kid is going, that's just cheap and you're making it look like you're more accurate than you are. I notice people on other boards aren't so quick to do it.
