I've thought from the beginning that if he was interested, he would've taken a virtual visit with us as well. Thought the excuse if he's go in person when this was all over was a bit off

I'm interested in if we will ultimately offer Pettiford for that PG spot in the 21 class. I really enjoy watching him play. Great motor and does it all for his team.

I really like pettiford, and think he's close with most of our commits for 2020 and 21.

Id love to see us pursue Elijah Jamison as a potential Combo Guard in that class. Plays a lot bigger than his listed height of 6'2

This certainly doesn't jive with the University of North Carolina having things accessible on campus for players to allow players to be training / working out "informally" for the last +/- MONTH or so.

Either FGDream or Davie made a distinct and definitive statement that this was going on (quote "this is not an internet rumor")... Shortly thereafter, I'm pretty damn sure we even had a ***** or two here that (as normal per the course in this day and age) stated that they thought it was "smart" on their part and that it had always "been allowable" (as if we were idiots for not doing the same?).

First of all - I have no idea personally - but there's been some random posts here over the last 3-4 weeks saying that they've been letting football players use the facilities there to "train and workout". None of it really was substantiated though - at least not as far as I could determine from what was posted.

Then late last week, Daviewolf posted about what Wake's situation has been like (IIRC, his son has only even been allowed to enter onto campus there once - and I took it as only recently - for like two hours to attend a meeting about what the initial procedures going forward might look like).

He posted that the Carolina rumor was not an internet rumor, but rather was verified, so I would assume that the Wake staff (or players that know other players - like maybe Surratt as a potential example) had first hand knowledge that this has been going on in Chapel Hill for at least awhile already.

Of course, that's not a lot of information to go on in the big picture... but I certainly have no problem in believing that would be something they would definitely do. Obviously the weight room, but this could easily include their IPF as well. That's why I'm kind of interested in it, you know?

I'm sure that if it gets any real run publicly (which so far, it apparently hasn't) that they will feign ignorance in that they misinterpreted something from one of the NCAA, ACC directives... but I'd still like to know if it happened or not - and if so, to what extent.

I mean it's simple common sense in understanding that this has not been allowable over these last two months.

Ok then I just missed it completely.

Regardless, I am happy with our current roster. To me, looks like a similar team to KK's first Year. Scrappy team that will tire out teams and win some big games. We will have more star power with DD and DJ and much more depth.
