Having assistants leave for head job is typically a sign you're doing something right. Also it's multiple months away and uncw might find someone else they want or Siddle might not want a head job yet

I think McGrath made about 400K per year at UNC W

Siddle's last contract was for a little over 300K at NCSU.

Starting to think it's more and more likely we never see Hall on campus

Let's not act like he's younger than his classmates. He's 19. He should be a college freshman. And he's a good talent that picked a different team. He had an offer and chose to play at a place that would play him more. Good for him for making a smart decision and taking advantage of it. He's also at the bottom of the scouting report for all those games. He's the guy that the other team is saying to let him beat them.

Same age as Shakeel Moore and Josh Hall and Cone certainly proved he could 'beat them' against both Syracuse and Wake.

Dont see many freshmen(outside of the elite guys) who can come off the bench and produce in ACC games.

So, I don't know if I am in the minority, but I don't believe it would be a HUGE loss if we lost siddle. Keatts' current staff seems to really be just a bunch of his friends. If he were to replace siddle with more of a teacher variety of coach, we could really benefit IMO.

Im very interested in how Dontrez Styles plays. He could be a great piece to the 2021 puzzle. Stock is rising and we seem to be in a good spot right now.

My concern would be who replaces Siddle IF we were to lose him. Whose to say Keatts wouldnt look for another old friend who may not be as good of a recruter as Siddle.

Dunlow, I would hope Boo would have some impact on his next hire. As for 2021, Styles and Jamison would continue my lovefest for NC high school kids and keep me from having to watch them go elsewhere and kill us. this has been a problem since Herb's days.

Make no mistake about it, Eric van der Heijden was one of the most promising prospects at our North Carolina Fall Preview camp. The 6-foot-8 forward from Millbrook High School in Raleigh, N.C. showed off a wide variety of skill and was a match-up problem at all of the frontcourt spots.

van der Heijden has a recruitment that reflects his talent on the court. Schools from a wide variety of levels have been in to see him already this school year. The class of 2021 prospect said he's had coaches from Air Force, Boston College, Charleston, Cincinnati, Clemson, Elon, George Washington and Western Carolina come by the school. He added that Davidson, NC State and Wake Forest have also shown an interest.

van der Heijden will be on the campus of George Washington this weekend for an unofficial visit. His brother, Jake, plays at Bucknell.

Two-sport standout Breon Pass scored 50 points in a come from behind win over Salisbury on Saturday night.

Reidsville trailed by double digits entering the fourth quarter but came from behind to take down Salisbury, 92-90, in the Big Shots MLK invitational at Ben L. Smith High School.

Pass' 50-point performance is one of the best ever in N.C. High School Athletic Association history. 50 points ties him 58th on the list of top single game scoring performances, and he is one of just 68 players to score at least 50 points in a game. The state record is 67 points.
