Seems to be a common theme nowadays. Offensive minded Kids wanna stretch the floor and have more room to make plays. You dont get that playing Center. DJ doesnt want to play C either.

The most frustrating part of this season is that we are probably a Lecque and/or Saddiq Bey away from being a top-3 ACC team. Duke and L'ville look very beatable to me. Haven't watch any fsu to be honest so can't really comment on these.

Can't really put that on the staff. They got them both signed sealed but just not delivered.

Tee Smith is a player. If he played in a major urban center or at one of those basketball prep school factories, he'd be ranked 50 spots higher that he currently is. I hope he stays at Farmville, though.

Really want Styles, too.

Thanks for sharing the video. Had to mute it. The guy doing "color commentary" (hard to call it that) was beyond annoying.

That is indeed an interesting question.

If Harris had put his name in the portal at the end of the season....maybe so.

Cone looks like a better version of Braxton Beverly to me. Good secondary PG and CG who can shoot the three.


Only thing is if we did land Cone, I doubt we end up with both Moore and Hayes. Of course Cone could end up being better than either one of them. He is doing it in the ACC already.

Id take that tradeoff, really believe we're one more serviceable guard away from a top 3 conference finish. Bryce and Markell are getting worn out from all the minutes they play.

I look forward to 4 years of posts whenever JC walks and chews gum at the same time. (And gets replaced at the end of games for defense like he did last night)



Dun is spot on with the upgraded Beverly comparison, though. Cone is a perfect 10-15 minute a game player on a contending team.

Do you get more from watching a kid live or by watching games on tape?

Hmmm I don't see Beverly as starting pg and I don't know if Allen has the ball skills to start at point guard. DD has been the primary ball handler at times but is too loose with the basketball to be a fulltime pg. We may need to go grad transfer route to find a starting pg unless KK is comfortable handing the keys to Hayes or Shakeel.

Curious to hear everyone's thoughts.
