Not dunlow, but I haven't interpreted anything previously posted here to imply that any scholarships are being pulled but rather that individuals are making decisions that they have felt are better for their personal future. Now I'm sure that the results of what happens in those practices helps with some of those decisions also... (someone will surely correct me if I am wrong )

still here, just a bit of a lull in BBall recruiting news right now.

I'm kinda glad there's a lull in recruiting right now. It makes me think our coaches wrapped up the guys they wanted next year for our style of play in a timely manner and can focus on getting this team where it needs to be. I don't think there are many spots left open for '18. Very professional by the staff, if true.

Does anyone have any info on senior seasons for any of the incoming class or reports on how next year's transfers look in practice (if they do get to practice)? I'm excited by this year, but really am for a second year of a program getting overhauled with a new system complete with a solid foundation of 2nd-3rd year current guys, incoming guys with size suited to our play, and talented transfers sitting out a year who've had success previously using similar principles on the court replacing those leaving us.

The article I saw quoted his HS coach saying he does not expect Manny to enroll early... also that it is shoulder surgery

We're currently using all 13 scholarships, so there isn't one available for Manny to get here early even if he could graduate.

Also, it's not really a good idea for a 4-year player to do that. If he showed up for the spring semester, then this year would count as a year of his 5 to play 4. Your 5-year clock starts from when you enroll, not from when you first play, or practice, or any of that. He would be left with 4 years to play his 4, which would essentially mean that he wouldn't have a redshirt year available if he got injured in his career (or if he wanted to transfer). It made sense for DSJ because there was less than zero chance of him using his 5 years, but he was one of the few.

Wendel Moore could be a real star in the ACC in a year or two. Love to get him.....he would flourish in this system,..but lotta competition on this one.

McGowen because of the hargrave connection and Nickelberry to take over the starting 2 spot after Bryce plays well enough to be a 1st draft pick next year.

I hope so. I would take this kid in a heartbeat. Smooth player with a nice stroke and we need shooters. I think he has a big upside even though he is ranked lower than the other combo guards we're recruiting.

The 5 star guard is out of Florida at IMG Academy...as we all know former Louisville commit...Anfernee simons considered one of the best shooters in class and top ten on most sites...he is 6'3 165 lb so NEEDS TO ADD WEIGHT for acc...Florida was considered the favorite but no longer bc they added like 3 or 4 guards, UCLA is prioritizing someone else. So it is really down to Ncsu Tennessee and South Carolina. I have no idea who the second guy is.
