I think he is gonna be in Red and White next season
Would love it. I have posted numerous times that I feel Hellems is a better fit for Coach Keatts(esp as a frosh). than Hamilton. We could all be smiling later today.wolfpackfan00 said:

FYI, very solid source.Dunlow66 said:
Just got word from a Missouri guy.......They think he his headed to NC State!!!
If we land Hellems, I think Bey would be impacted. They are pretty much the same type of player.wkdbigpckfan said:
So... what does this mean in regards to KJ or Bey?
We are still in it with Bey, Jericole is being recruited as a small PF in our offense. Bey could play 3 or 4. He is a better passer, IMO, than Hellems and probably a bit more consistent 3 point shooter.Chicwolf67 said:
But it would sure be nice to land them both. 2 PF and 2 SF would fill the void of those leaving. Add KJ to that and it would be one hell of a class.
Just saw 5* Wendell Moore from Charlotte will be on campus this weekend as wellDunlow66 said:

Can someone describe Hellems' game? Videos show him as reasonably athletic, active, and with a decent stroke. Is that accurate? What are his strengths?

Roster update:
Most Likely not returning(5): Omer Yurtseven, Abdul Malik Abu, Lennard Freeman, Al Freeman, Sam Hunt
Most likely returning(8): Markell Johnson(Jr), Torin Dorn(rSr), Lavar Batts(So), Darius Hicks(Jr), Shawn Kirk(Sr), CJ Bryce(rJr), Devon Daniels(rSo), Braxton Beverly(rFr)
2018 recruits(3): Manny Bates(Fr), Ian Steere(Fr), Jericole Hellems(Fr)
2 open scholarships going into 2018.
At 6'6" and 190 lbs., I doubt he is anyones face up power forward. Looks like a 3 when they go small and maybe a 2 when they go big. Either way, glad he's coming to Raleigh.NatePait94 said:dogplasma said:

"Look for Hellems to fill the void as a faceup power forward. His shot making and ability to handle play best at that position, and that is where he is being recruited to end up."
