Our 4 recruits all signed today, and gravis posted this on a recruiting thread. AFAIK, there aren't any "lock" prospects out there for us to lose, so I'm not sure what kind of bad news it could possibly be related to recruiting, But I guess we'll see.

Hopefully everyone's eligible to play in the season opener.
It seems like at least half of Gott's seasons saw a surprise suspension to start the season. CJ Leslie missed a few games for impermissible benefits, Ted Kapita and Omer Yurtseven had to sit out while their eligibility was investigated... maybe Purvis while his high school was under investigation?

Is it bad news? I know at some point there were rumors that Gott may have left us with some compliance issues. That could have just been speculation, however.
My guess is that the NCAA gives in and makes Beverly eligible before Friday nights season opener.
