Their former Head Coach and CEO, Korey McCray, is an Asst Coach at Miss State.

With any attrition this offseason I would like the staff to take a grad transfer big so that Dowuona can redshirt but we'll see how everything shakes out

IMO, he definitely could use a redshirt year. Needs some more strength and a little added weight.

He can RS next year I believe if need be. Gonna have Fundy, Bates, Hellems, Taylor, & Farrar who can play next year.

Each commitment so far has come 1 month after the last. So I'm predicting an early November commitment from Ambrose

2020 North Mecklenburg (NC) guard Tristan Maxwell is taking an official visit to NC State today. Maxwell spent this travel season with Team Charlotte.

Wouldnt be a shock to see Maxwell commit. Sounds like we are high on his list.

When do we ever go an off season and not lose a kid.

Harris has a history of transferring, Daniels and Dj will both be eligible to grad transfer. Something will Lillie happen, it's just part of the game now

A few of my personal thoughts:

I won't be upset if Maxwell is who we end up with. I won't be thrilled either, but not upset. I'm intrigued by his game and while he has some issues with being a little under-sized and not terribly athletic, his game is solid.

However, I might be a LITTLE upset if we don't even give Ambrose a chance to take that final spot. To me he's clearly a better talent, and we could use an upgrade in talent. It doesn't mean that Ambrose will definitely end up a better player than Maxwell, but I think his ceiling is a good bit higher. Again, my personal opinion based on limited video watching, so basically just a meaningless opinion.

While I would be pretty happy to take both Ambrose AND Maxwell, I'd be surprised to see us do it. I do agree that there will likely be attrition, just because there almost always is, but there's also the shadow of the NCAA investigation there. And while I'm pretty sure we're expecting it to be fairly minor, a loss of scholarship(s) has got to be a possibilty. I'm not sure this would be the year to oversign (which I don't recall us ever doing in the past), but I assume Keatts knows what's going on.

So as of now for next year State has, can see signing one more guy, but not 2. Who might leave?
