I can't find them now, but during his original recruitment he made some comments that lead to those opinions. (Thats why some people were less than thrilled when we picked him up as a grad transfer.)

Yea talking about when Al was coming out of high school. That was also when Scott Drew was recruiting out of his mind at Baylor and was getting great talent out of NC(Quincy Miller, Deuce Bello, Al Freeman)

One less scholly for Louisville and they really need a PG and Big man.. Also would probably mean less of a chance that Hall would get featured in that offense.

Dunlow66, I am with you. Love BB so much and want us to get back to national relevancy. I have said for 30 years the key is twofold: 1. Mine the state of NC better and 2. Play a nonconference schedule that is for championship versus for wins. I think we are slowly get 1 done. The second needs some work.

I cant speak for the other guys in the 6-8 spots

but Pettiford and Jamison are legit, IMO.


Jamison is a pure scoring PG. The guy is a matchup nightmare on offense. Just non stop attack, attack, attack.


I'd rate him over Pettiford as a player. Pettiford may have a beter PG skillset rigth now


I have been a fan of Styles since he was a freshman at Kinston. He would be big addition but I'm mot sure it will be with us. Still feels like a kid that Stackhouse could lure to Vandy if no UNC offer

On second thought, I wish to announce I am open to 351 programs at this time. I know there are two more programs making the transition to D1 status, but I just can't include those folks. Respect my decision.
