I think that we need to be fair to the kid, like C2K is being. He's young, away from home, and not getting the love and playing time that he was used to in high school.
It can be very confusing. I'm glad that C2K gave him a few days to think about it. If he decides to leave, I wish him the best, if he stays, I wish him the best. I hope he makes the decision that will pan out to be the best for the rest of his life.

Yea I agree. The timing is unfortunate but saying he already turned his back on the program is unfair to the young man.FergusWolf said:

Looks like the Steere news is official. Kid went to 4 high schools and two college commitments and only one college game. Kinda confirms what dun has been saying for awhile now about kids with commitment issues.
Damn wasted scholarship and now we are thin at the 5 position.
Probably a long shot but I wonder if we can burn Manny's redshirt when he is healthy? Thats the only option I see to improve our front line at this point.

I mean it's not really wasted. We get the scholarship back. It's better than him deciding to stay and not be willing to put the work in like guys in past years.

I really like this option. Plenty of quality players out there. I hope we can find a stud for the open spot.
Not so sure this was strictly about playing time, but it is what it is at this point...so nothing left to do but move on. We have a very talented team and a season that has just begun.

He's a walk-on that I saw at Primetime with the Pack. I assumed he is still on the team. I can't see the bench too well because I have nosebleed seats.
2019 kid we might take a look at is Jeremiah Davenport.
He is a SF playing for Hargrave this year. Reclassified 2018 kid from Ohio. 6'4 , and can jump out of the gym.
