5star PG Sharife Cooper from Georgia looks like he will be commiting to Auburn in a few weeks


Auburn has been landing a lot of guys from McEachern HS in Georgia. Most of those kids also play for the same AAU team(AOT or Athletes Of Tomorrow)

Word from my camp is there is nothing really in the pipeline right now...Keatts and staff gearing up for the season and will monitor and evaluate of course, but the shift from recruiting to season prep has arrived and is in full effect.

Ok...that's true...but as you said at the time we want keatts because he is the better developer and recruiter between the 2

I didn't like the way Wade left VCU and all the talking he does in the media. Good coach but I will take KK over him any day....from both a system and player development point. I don't think KK lacks in the recruiting department either. I think those will come with time.

On top of everything else, I think its pretty cool that we have an All- Black coaching staff. I think its great for our players and other young AA players to see.

He's a 6"9 SF who average 2 pts a game on a horrible Georgetown team, and got kicked off. Doubt we want him at all. But even if we did we have no scholarships.

Honestly, he didnt get a lot of PT as a freshman. I think he has potential to be more.

Big news from the G League. President Malcolm Turner tells ESPN they are implementing a "professional path" for would-be one and done players. They're offering $125k contracts, as well as access to NBA infrastructure and development tools. ESPN News Story:

With the new G League rule allowing "elite prospects" earning $125000 starting this summer, do you guys think this affects us a lot with Lecque already contemplating the NBA

I mean it doesnt help but does it really change much? Lecque could have gone into the draft regardless. This will affect the guys that weren't eligible and now can go straight to the Gleague.

Life just got a lot harder for Cal, K, Self, and Roy.

Cam Thomas SG from Oak Hill will OV to NC State this weekend

This kid can flat out score in every way. Quick with good handles. Gets into the lane with ease and can finish with a nice variety of 'off balance' shots in the paint. Can pull up from anywhere and hit the jump shot. Also a solid defender


From the Va Beach/Chesapeake area and we have been on him for over a year.
