The media should have been cancelled a decade ago . I think it's battered women syndrome, despite being lied to over and over again democrats keep returning to the same sources - MSNBC, CNN, NYT, WAPO.

Republicans and moderates learned to find valuable alternatives at substack , twitter , podcasts etc and left traditional media behind . Dems seem to enjoy being lied to and told what they want to hear .

I will give an olive branch to Civ and Smarty . Having debates is a good thing . It's why freedom of speech is so important .

I said it numerous times before. Dems will never win an election running on abortion alone. They had nothing to run on this time, so they went all in on "women's rights" as if every woman in this country thinks the same.

People are surprised that Trump did well with Latinos. Why? Latino's are deeply catholic, church going people. Kamala is blasting TV screens with abortion scare tactics. How does that resonate with deeply religious people?

Minority co-worker of mine who voted Trump (surprisingly). His comment to me? "I'm a minority in the tech industry, and I'm struggling to find another job".

Between this and people seeing the price at the register, you can't convince people the economy is doing well. It isn't. No matter what lipstick they have tried to put on the pig, people have seen through it.

Most everyone in the country wants and needs affordable health care.

Most of the country still agrees with sensible, legal abortion.

Most of the country still wants to actively support Ukraine and Israel and our other allies.

Most of the country cares about democracy.

This was a vote for change. A lot of people were frustrated.

The country is tired of the left and Biden/Harris.

When Trump's successor is running as a defacto incumbent in 2028, then they'll likely be tired of him and whatever his flaws are too.

That's why change candidates around the globe have had such success running against incumbent leaders and their parties in recent years.

Ukraine needs to find another cash cow. Most of the country does not support sending more money to Ukraine. I prefer a President who negotiates peace instead of funding proxy wars with nuclear armed nations.

One party also completely spit in the face of their entire party by installing the candidate they wanted. Someone running for the US Presidency that literally never received a single primary vote is not "caring about democracy". It's caring about staying in power regardless of the collateral damage.

I never liked him, but didn't think he was terrible last night, but to be fair, only thing I really saw on CNN was John king and his map, and Tapper was basically a side show for him

I only saw about 5 'minutes of CNN panel, and that was Van Jones lamenting how poor WOC had been told they were not of value again because their candidate had been rejected. Best part was the GOP guy next to him (Monday of an amen) chimed in that some of those people were the ones who rejected her,

Biden literally let millions upon millions of illegal immigrants into the country with the purpose of making them legal to become blue voters. Harris was in charge of that effort for the last 3.5 years. That's as radical as you can possibly get as that would change the course of elections forever in this country if allowed.
