You know what gets me is how some politicians don't get that leaving frustrated constituents to their own grievances, is always a threat to that same politician remaining in office. The greatest untold story about how the Dems broke the NC legislative supermajority is a good example. Frank Sossamon listened to the concerns of people in the most Republican part of his district about overdevelopment and runaway home building…and blew them off. Democrats wanted Trump. They ran ads for him in the primary. They thought they could run their weekend at Bernie's candidate out there and their minions would vote for him again. Their minions would have , but they realized after the debate that wouldn't be enough. So then they usurped their elected candidate and installed their weekend at Bernie's 2 candidate. They tried hiding her. They kept her to a script. Few but only friendly interviews. They dug in on their antisemitic position by not choosing Shapiro.

Yes, this echoes what Chris Christie said last night - he had originally said he was "transition" which implied one term, but once he ran again, created a huge mess.
And it should immediately bring up for more concern exactly what has been happening with decisions in the WH for the past year+ with a man who has clearly no longer been capable of making key decisions
