Yeah, and I think we all knew that. If they wanted to try that stunt with any success, they should have tried it in a state where it would have been believable.

It was always the economy...so vote for the guy whose economic tariff plan economists have been lambasting for months?

Betting big on abortion and women didn't cost her. That was just leaning into her obvious advantage there.

Her guilt-by-association from being on Biden's ticket in an economy that's objectively better than people think it is, but viewed by most of the country as being bad, is what cost her.


look at the game tape. People vote with their wallets, when ground beef is 40% higher, the folks in office are going to get the blame. Guess who was in office and is getting the blame?

No disagreement there.

But that's saying her de facto incumbency hurt her because of economic perceptions, not her focus on abortion, which is my point.
