Looks like Trump's reality show is back in full swing.
I read a stat around a month ago that in Lake Lure (the lake itself) alone, at that time, they had transported nearly 500 dump trucks worth of debris from the lake and were estimating that was around half of the debris.
1000 trucks @ 25 yards is a literal massive mountain of trash, almost impossible to wrap your head around.
Now evidently multiply that volume times 100 and you're on the right order of magnitude for the amount of debris that will be hauled off from WNC ultimately.
Just a colossal cleanup and rebuild operation, made even more difficult by remoteness and weather and geography.
I'm just glad Trump gave the order yesterday to get the ACE down there to finally get started. Finally, a leader! I mean, what was Poopy Pants waiting for?

Biden did visit immediately, and wrote a big check. You guys live in a cartoon world.
Here, maybe this will help:

Oh you silly libs and your twist on words. Sure he visited NORTH CAROLINA. Why don't you search and see if he actually went on the ground in Asheville or western NC? Talk to the residents? See the damage first hand? You won't do that because you know the answer. He flew over with Pooper and then went back to cozy Raleigh to talk about it. Then, while you're learning (glad to teach you btw), Google how much money he's given to Ukraine and Africa since he FLEW OVER western NC as compared to what the state got.SmaptyWolf said:wolf howl said:Maybe if Poopy Pants visited the area ONE time in 4 months it would've made a difference?
