I didn't watch that video. The comments regarding the video certainly paints a picture of a dumb Trump supporter. Now, let's take the premise of the Muslims taking over.

Really, all you need to do is look at England, I believe all their major cities now have a Muslim as the mayor. That happened because of their open door policy for migration. For me, when I think of England, I think of properness, the accent, and a sense of pride towards their country.

Now, I have no idea whether that same sense is real with these Muslim mayors and the constituents that voted them in. They may very well like the same England as the natives, I just don't know. I do read that Sharia Law does have a place in England, which, in my opinion, is a disaster for the country.

So, we can make fun of the video or look at it as a cry for our country. Again, I didn't watch it; however, we are seeing pockets of change across the country that should be alarming to everyone; yet, it isn't.

i guess it is what it is… you know… Orange Man Bad!!

So you admit you don't have any sense of the Muslim mayors you claim to have taken over the England you have in mind but... you know... Brown Man Bad!!

Are there any Muslim mayors other than Sadiq Khan in London? What specifically is your concern with Khan?

Are there any Muslim mayors other than Sadiq Khan in London? Yes

What specifically is your concern with Khan? Did I say I had a problem with him?

Can you name the other major cities with Muslim mayors aside from Khan in London?

Your entire post was regarding how you are concerned about Muslims taking over and changing England from what you picture when you envision it. And you are concerned about that happening in America. Sounds like it's a problem for you; not specifically Khan, but the general sense. I was just asking for you to explain your concern. Why are Muslim mayors a problem?

There is no evidence that Muslim mayors are causing English cities to come under Sharia law. The UK government explicitly says Sharia has no jurisdiction in England and Wales:

Surely y'all's logic isn't that stunted.

There's a history. A lot of pro-Confederacy, pro-Soviet sentiment within our internal enemy. Not for nothing did Lincoln call them fifth columnists. Now that anti-American socialists of the Hasan Piker stripe are at the wheel, it's to be expected.

You're the one who brought up this Muslim invasion concern. I'm just trying to understand what it is. My responses should have no bearing on the concern you brought up.

You made the claim that most major British cities have Muslim mayors but can't list any outside of the one I mentioned. There seem to be private Sharia Law councils for people who choose to participate but no evidence that it is being enacted in government jurisdiction.

You say we live in different worlds. Please show me evidence of yours. I'm just trying to understand your claims.

Ok, I'll bite…

Yes, segments of areas with England do have these Sharia Law councils. Based on some of my readings they are not as private as you suggest. I also agree that they are not government enacted; however, they are not shut down by the government either. Regardless of whether they are private, what jurisdiction do they and/or should they have in England?

Regarding the two of us living in different worlds; I don't remember the context I may have used; however, I have been a volume speaker about having different world views with others in this thread. Yes, I do believe that to be true!

I see things from Christian World View first and I'm very strong in my belief. Now, when it comes to our governmental structure, I am a strict originalist! We have too many debates about court decisions, actually Civ uses that frequently by saying, "I don't think the courts will agree with you". A recent example of that circles around the media outlets access to the White House. Yes, you can site court decisions as precedence. That said, I've never been a believer in precedence (in fact I've had debates with our current Chief Justice in NC). He and I disagree on this issue. I had an opportunity to poke fun with him on the ruling that dictated Roe vs Wade and its overturning.

In summary, I don't frequent this thread anymore as it's very polarizing, very much like several of the Sports threads. Typically, I stay clear from the chaos anymore. I'm going to move on from you, ok?

Feel free to do whatever you like.

Can you provide evidence that the Sharia Law councils aren't private? You've obviously done a lot of reading about it so it should be easy to prove.

Why should the government shut them down? They are not courts, they are councils most commonly used to advise in Islamic marriages. I've already provided a link that the UK government explicitly states they have no jurisdiction or legal authority. Should government shut down ecclesiastical tribunals?

Curious if you have the same concern about Christian Nationalism?

There's a history. A lot of pro-Confederacy, pro-Soviet sentiment within our internal enemy. Not for nothing did Lincoln call them fifth columnists. Now that anti-American socialists of the Hasan Piker stripe are at the wheel, it's to be expected.

Really?

What are the names of the anti-American socialists at the wheel?

You've just listed 2% of Democratic leadership.

How does a 2% fraction qualify as being 'at the wheel' of anything?

You know who's at the wheel? MAGA. The President. The VP. The cabinet. Advisors. And a majority of Congress that either explicitly agrees or sits in the cuck chair watching while MAGA drives the car off the cliff.

Shouldn't you reckon with that disaster first before concocting theories about a tiny fraction of the far-left somehow controlling the Democratic Party?

Also, there's only one party that's doing actual socialism right now, and it ain't Democrats.

"I think our only hope is an attack on US soil… preferably Alabama, Louisiana… where the stupid people live,"

"I think America is beyond peaceful protest!" and "Ready for the MAGAs to die off!!" Breitbart News reported that Headen posted a photo at a Nazi concentration camp memorial and wrote, "This is where Trump supporters belong."

Today's Democrat Party… removed support once those comments came to light. My thoughts from Thurs:
https://insidepacksports.com/forums/4/topics/26794/replies/1553344

Headen's own response to her comments was sorely lacking. She waved off her remarks, saying she didn't remember them, and insisted she would continue to run even without the support of her party.

"I've sacrificed myself just like Jesus sacrificed himself on the cross, and Martin Luther King and Abraham Lincoln and all the people that put themselves out there to sacrifice for our country," she told The Assembly. "If a few angry moments on social media are the end, then so be it. MAGA will keep winning if we continue with not standing up for what's right."

https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/nc-democrat-called-violence-against-090000737.html

Did you even open the link? The headline is literally " Democrats Drop Support for Candidate Who Called for Violence Against Republicans"

I know you don't read anything you don't agree with so you live in this bubble but this is ridiculous. Just like this woman's comments. Stop being obtuse. We could fill a novel with quotes by random Republican candidates who never lost their party's support

Not the headline and my point is these are the people running for office as democrats across the country.

The link from my post on Thursday that I linked on this story. The post where I agreed that this language and rhetoric have no place in politics. Stop being obtuse.

And my point is there are equally (or worse) candidates for Republicans and they don't remove support.

Republican who called for violence against Democrats is unfit for office

Hey look! Another prime example of Pubs keeping silent over one of their own espousing violent rhetoric against the left. This one from Bo French, who recently made headlines whining about Texas fans in a screenshot from the game against Ohio State not being white enough for his liking.

https://www.cnn.com/2026/09/28/politics/kfile-bo-french-tweets-executions

Clearly they've learned a lot from the Dems.

Trump opens red-dyed diesel to truckers in bid to slash fuel costs

President Donald Trump is giving truckers a new way to fight pain at the pump, signing an executive order that temporarily lets them fill up with red-dyed diesel normally barred from highway use.

"They're going to be very happy in about two seconds," Trump said during remarks in Grand Island, Nebraska, before announcing the relief.

The order allows off-road diesel on highways and defers the federal excise tax through year's end without interest or penalties, according to the White House.

Parnell said on social media the plan to use an Army firing squad was recommended by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and approved by President Trump.

"The Secretary of the Army will set the time and place of the execution. Judgement day for Hasan has finally come," Parnell wrote.

The problem is the supplier side. Those guys can't just ship off road diesel to truck stops. Are truck stops going to want to have dyed diesel? Is it going to create a problem with all their equipment when we return back to the regulations for tax purposes? It sounds easy to waive your hand like you're Yul Brynner in The 10 Commandments, but I just don't think this is going to do anything to diesel prices except raise the price of offroad further because this change doesn't produce more diesel.

Iran's oil minister resigns as country's economic crisis worsens

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2026/oct/05/iran-oil-minister-resigns-economic-crisis
- - -
Oran's oil minister has resigned days after allegations that an intermediary trust selling Iranian oil abroad owed millions of dollars' worth of export receipts to the state.

Mohsen Paknejad's departure comes as Iran grapples with a dire economic situation, including inflation running at 85%. An overall drop in oil receipts has led to a massive shortfall in foreign exchange earnings and one of the biggest drops in the value of the rial since the Iranian revolution in 1979.

Almost there if we can just keep the democrats from rescuing the murderous regime and leading sponsor of state terrorism.

The demand side, squeezed at the margin, might accept it as a short term solution, and a very short term solution is what it is, at best. But the Russian war in Ukraine is IMO the biggest underlying cause of the problem and unless NATO wants to stage a very high risk intervention there, the diesel problem isn't going to get better if the Ukes continue to knock Russian petro facilities offline.

So you honestly believe that MAGA is so popular with "real" Americans that the only way they can lose the upcoming election is because of fraud (given all of the obvious fraud in 2024 where you were still allowed to win in an OMG LANDSLIDE for some reason)?

Is this one of those geriatric things where you become incapable of not falling for scams? Because it's cartoonishly obvious the only ones trying to steal (sorry, "secure") the upcoming election are MAGA Republicans.

Same goes for Trump's corrupt DOJ going after "scams", which when you translate from MAGAese means "exclusively target Trump's enemies list while shielding his cronies' unprecedented corruption from any scrutiny".

A worthwhile goal for sure, but no chance now. Americans are out of patience. There's no political will to take that on when the war is already so unpopular.

If regime change was the goal, the best opportunity was when the Iranian people were already in the streets trying to bring down the regime themselves nearly a year ago.

Late last year the government was dealing with a collapsing economy, widespread public anger, a weakened position in the region, and protests across all 31 provinces.

That was the moment to strongly support the Iranian people and give an already-growing movement the best possible chance to succeed from within. Instead, the protests were brutally crushed, and now we're trying to accomplish through excuse-me military force what had a chance to happen organically with a big lift from the West.

And the only thing we're accomplishing at this point is driving up inflation and energy prices and weakening our own economy.

It's time to end it, except now the morons can't because they have no leverage; don't want to settle for an agreement substantially worse than Obama's JCPOA; and so as a last resort, keep drawing this thing out painfully and totally ineffectively.

It's honestly a master class in how to royally **** something like this up both at home and abroad.

Well done Mr. President

Seems like a sensible move. And plenty he does that I'm not a fan of. Still, a few things his administration has done that I am a big fan of include the DOJ massively going after the scamming industry and election fraud busts. Both pose a threat to American citizens albeit in different ways.

How about we just get out of Iran? We won the war months ago, and 15 times since, according to the clown show.

So why are we still there, while our economy flails as a result back home?

They need to commit to completing the job. There are positive signs that some things are working, but the lack of commitment to troops is going to extend this. And I don't mean that statement as something I take lightly. If they back out now, it's a loss and this is all for not.

A commitment to troops, with what specific goal(s)?
