The stage has been set.

The public have been informed that our elections are not secure, and now Trump has the optics to do whatever is necessary to secure the 2026 midterms, to include invoking the Insurrection Act to secure polling locations with Military and Federal Law Enforcement.

Trump has been teasing the idea of having DHS/ICE involved in election security as well, as he has repeatedly said "election security is part of homeland security".

Anyone who thinks POTUS does not have the authority to do so, is mistaken. This is a matter of National Security. POTUS can, and will, do whatever is necessary to ensure the treasonous Dems, and their foreign co-conspirators, are not able to manipulate our elections.

I think the SAVE America Act is just a formality, and ultimately, it will be the Military that ends up securing our elections. The US Military will not allow foreign adversaries to select our Commander in Chief ever again.

Just another "Get Trump" story that is created to only fit one side of a narrative.

And I'm sure that there are other "experts" out there that would quickly tell you that the coating was in fact vandalized.

I continue to contend that this stuff isn't rocket science - no where close to it in fact. Jobs like this are getting done somewhere every single day in this country... but somehow, someway this is the only single job that got botched? Give me an f'n break.

Where's the story about all the rest of these jobs that have been botched? If there were a bunch of them out there, I'm sure someone would have posted it here already. But somehow we are supposed to believe that this project got awarded to some "fly by night" company that had no idea whatsoever about what they were doing?

Do you know how laughable that sounds?

Tell me this hokie. How many times have you physically visited this jobsite so far as this situation has been unfolding? How was your personal, physical inspection of the surface prep work? What did you see that concerned you while you were on the site watching the application process? What are you seeing there each day as these damaged areas are being removed? I'm sure that you've stuck your fingers right into the proverbial nail holes - not just once, but day after day after day. Right?

Of all the inane, unserious, laughable, corrupt, and criminal things Trump and his merry band of idiots have done, him single-handedly making 30% of America believe our electoral system can't be trusted, and then literally attacking it on Jan 6, are the worst.

He is a walking, talking daily stress test for our government and norms and laws.

It's clear he's amplifying old grievances to lobby Congress to pass his voter suppression darling SAVE, but the real question is what more he'll try to do to sow distrust or obviously even worse, actually interfere.

I don't trust this Congress to do jack, so Secretaries of state, bipartisan election commissions, and the Supreme Court may never have been so electorally important as they will be in 26 and 28.
