It's my opinion YOUR great President Trump is getting Israel on board and working out the last details. That's why he's keeping it low key for now.

You are never going to get the truth with the media. Most of us know this by now. That is not their job. Their job is to tell you what their management tells them to say.

here is the unvarnished MOU for you to read directly this despicable surrender.

Please enlighten us on how this is victory for the US

Iran doesn't get a nuclear weapon?

ISOs of cash.

What exactly are you talking about?

We've gone from pallets to ISOs

Not one red cent comes from the American tax payer.

I'm skeptical Iran will meet the stipulations required for the release of frozen Iranian funds, but we will see.

it doesn't matter where the money comes from. They got $1.7B and look how much damage that did. Now we're giving them potentially $100+B of their money and a $300B rebuilding fund.

If we destroyed only military targets, why are we promising $300B to fix them?

This is an utter disaster that no one other than crazy people are celebrating. It's outright disgraceful. Trying to defend this crap deal shows a lot about a he populist right. They have no conviction or backbone. It's on to the next thing.

It's constant deflection and nihilism.

Literally nothing matters. Not laws, not norms, not allies, not corruption, not self-dealing, not professional conduct, not serious governance, not caring for the poor or weak or oppressed, not the Constitution, nothing.

The sooner this cynical and unethical and totally unserious crowd gets replaced, the better off America will be.

Actually, I take that back. One thing matters, and that's pissing off the left. If the left is unhappy, we must be heading in the proper direction!

The left is ALWAYS pissed off. You hated Bush, called him all kinds of disgusting names. You hated McCain, called him all kinds of disgusting names….then you liked him for disagreeing with Trump. You hate Trump and call him all kinds of disgusting names. You'll hate the next person with an (R) behind their name and you'll call them all kinds of disgusting names too. Maybe it just you and your democrat party that's the problem?

I didn't do those things so you can quit the 'you' stuff.

I didn't hate Bush or call him names. I always said he'd make a great next-door neighbor and seemed like a good dude, I just had some simple policy disagreements with him. I disagreed with him leaning into the religious right so much and being on the wrong side of LGBTQ rights. I disagreed with him on tax cuts and abortion rights. I agreed with him on immigration and sensible paths to citizenship. I agreed with him on health care and his support of global health initiatives. He did a great job uniting and leading the country through 9/11. He approached the office with the requisite seriousness and professionalism.

I definitely didn't hate McCain, I liked him a lot. Romney too. What was there to dislike? Those were two professional, kind, considerate, competent guys. I liked Obama as president more, but those were two fine choices for President.

We don't even need to discuss Trump. It's obvious to 70% of America and the entirety of the world how poor a person and President he is. He earns and deserves the criticism he receives and the era of his Presidency will go down as a stain on our country's history.

This is not a peace deal. There is an understanding that they will continue talking and try to reach a peace deal in 60 days. If Iran does not behave they will get bombed. If they start meeting certain criteria, then they will slowly get some of the funds that have been frozen. What we have right now is a pause. Iran has a choice to make. Do what they signed on to do or be obliterated. No U. S. Forces are going anywhere for a while. Trump has all the leverage. Obama never had any.

Again let it play out and see where we go. There is plenty in the works behind the scenes. Americans don't want troops on the ground. Ok then we destroy them economically where they have to either give in or get destroyed. Trump is giving them an out to save face, but he is not letting them off the hook.

Yeah, I'm not buying that. This regime murdered tens of thousands of their own citizens, they were responsible for October 7th, they are responsible for the war in Gaza, and they have consistently maintained their main goal is to eradicate Israel off the map and to murder as many Americans as possible.

As a reward for all this, the US is now going to allow Iran to become richer than they have in the last 47 years.

Great negotiations. In 60 days you know what we're going to have? Jack squat.

What is the alternative?

finish the job you promised. Unconditional surrender

What would that include?

go ask Trump. He said it.

Perhaps he's accomplished what he wanted, right? So, what would you want him to do to finish the job?? Did you have an expectation of what that meant? If so, what was it?

What did he accomplish that he wanted?

He's gotten to a place where they can get a deal. What I find interesting is that some want him to finish the job. I really think it's them that need to let us know what they expected.

it appears obvious that Trump is at a place where he is content, for the time being. BTW, I'm not here to read anyone's mind, so, please enlighten us on your expectations.

I think this has been a total disaster and any deal he can make isn't going to be nearly as good as the JCPOA he withdrew from.

Unfortunately, we'll have to live with the lives already lost, economic hits, and would rather spend the potential $300 billion on our own citizens instead of rebuilding Iran after bombing them.

What are your expectations?

What $300 billion are you talking about?

He's still watching MSNOW apparently...

Must be

Are y'all being intentionally obtuse or are you not aware about the $300 billion redevelopment fund that's a component of the deal?

Or are you hiding behind "yeah but but but that money's not coming from the US government?"

Again, the deal sucks in many ways including this one. The Obama deal Trump hated had a fraction of that capital (and similarly it did not come from the US government) allocated as incentive to behave.

eljefe literally said he "rather spend $300 billion on our on citizens" so I was asking him what he is talking about? I get the feeling he is misinformed.

As I said 500 times in the last three pages of this thread, I skeptical Iran will meet the requirements for any money to make it to them. If you don't like this part of the deal, take it up with the gulf coast nations.

Let's change it to something less ambiguous then. I'd rather the $30 billion already spent on this war (and additional $80 billion the Pentagon is requesting) be used on the American people.

Trying to get rid of a regime that has vocally been at war with the USA for 50 years and then replenishing your defense is spending money on its citizens. I know you hate Trump but come on man.

And how has that regime changed? Is this agreement any better than the JCPOA?

What do you not understand about the word "trying"? If you want to have a meaningful discussion then lets do that, but this is the second time you just post something to be right about a talking point you want so badly to make.

Ok, discuss. Why do you think previous administrations didn't "try" to bomb Iran? What have we gained from this "attempt"?

It obviously doesn't square. And that doesn't matter.

The goal is to distract from Trump's colossal failure in Iran, and the massive hole he's dug for Republicans in the midterms, not an actually sound prosecutorial strategy.

Two ways to look at it........either the 1st Revolutionary War wasn't won completely, and we've been in 250 years of skirmishes since.........or this is a 2nd Revolution.

I choose a 2nd Revolutionary War as I believe we won the 1st one and then kept the win with the War of 1812 victory. Our federal govt sold us out in 1871, then further relented in1913, and they further solidified their infiltration with JFK's assassination on 11/22/1963.

Why's the White House posting about it now? #justacoincidenceSieve

By the way, I had lost count on the # of unsealed indictments might be remaining and how many had been unsealed. Juan O'Savin interviewed over the weekend reiterated that there remain more than 750,000 sealed indictments. As I understand it, up to 99 persons can be on a single indictment. Of course, persons can be named on more than one indictment too and, of course, there can be either 1 or up to 99 per indictment. So the # of persons named on sealed indictment could range - realistically - from 750,000 persons up to the neighborhood 74,000,000 persons.

If 1/2 of 99 is the average, that calcs to 37,125,000.
If 1/5 of 99 is the average, that calcs to 14,850,000

#Sieve, you taking the O, or the U, on the 14,850,000 persons?
I'm going to go with an O..........because I think there are still more indictments coming.
