I will be shocked if Trump is able to flip KY-04 and root out Massie.
Massie made tactical mistakes in his re-election plan. He didn't justify himself very effectively with his contrary position on certain major legislative votes. He never should have remarried so soon after the passing of his first wife, one, it's not a good look, and two, the sympathy vote might have shielded him against Trump.
lololololololol. Getting remarried too soon is a bad look? I'd like to introduce you to Ken Paxton, who Trump just endorsed.
I'm talking specifically about Massie. But does/will it hurt Paxton? I think it hurts Massie and that may be the difference maker. Paxton was never a widower. I think you miss my point that Massie had a potential sympathy vote to help out, something that doesn't apply to Paxton.
oh got your point, I just find it humorous to clutch pearls over Massie remarrying after his wife died being a reason he will lose, when it's Trump going scorched earth on him. I compare that to Paxton, who is a scumbag and a serial adulterer getting the full Republican and Trump endorsement, and including funneling money from other Senate races to get this guy over the hump against Cornyn.
Edit after Massies concession speech - Antisemites are gonna antisemite I suppose.
