The end game obviously was to replace the Ayatollah with an even crazier Ayatollah, ensure that same regime will definitely be planning revenge as soon as they're able for killing a bunch of their leaders, hand them (a.k.a. "unfreeze") $20 BILLION to pretend the nuclear issue is solved, and of course have no effect on China whatsoever. Assuming Iran doesn't just say YOLO and decides to keep holding the strait hostage, giving them significantly more power in the region than they had. Winning!!!

Lol, remember how long you guys (and Trump) howled about Obama's Iran nuclear deal unfreezing $1.7 billion... "OMG HE'S FUNDING TERRORISTS!!1". So now maybe we'll have a significantly stupider nuclear deal for 12 times as much! How many terrorists will that fund? I'm sure you won't say a peep about it.

At least Trump managed to lose a Middle East war in record time (a month?), so we hopefully won't have to drag this out for 20 years.
