Every hand is now bad. We are hoping for the least bad option. Best case scenario we spend tens of billions on top of the loss of life. It will take years to repair the Gulf oil infrastructure that Iran has destroyed.

If we bomb Iranian water desalination like is being threatened, they will retaliate against similar plants in other nations and we won't be able to stop them.
