It's simple, the reason for requiring a birth certificate is to prevent illegals from voting which democrats and looks like some "independents" have a huge problem with. Crazy stuff I know to only want US citizens voting.

lol, you do realize a similar law requirements in Kansas produced 39 cases of non citizens registered to vote vs 31,000 who were citizens that their registrations were canceled for lack of documentation.

So for every 1 you found, you disenfranchised 800. So, go fix that if that's what you want to do or recognize the problem is way overblown and just require basic photo ID and registration. Like I said, take the win.

Americans don't care about 'loving America' bluster and rhetoric from either side. That's obviously partisan nonsense and not persuasive.

Americans want to know who they can trust to help them, and their answer to that changes over time based on inputs.

Biden was voted in as a return to normalcy and sanity after Trump v. 1.0.
Trump was voted in as an antidote to open borders, DEI/woke-ism, and what people viewed as an economy that wasn't working for them.
Dems are now much more in favor because Americans haven't seen action from this Administration that has helped them economically; have looked like fascists while they handled immigration enforcement; have exacerbated health care cost challenges, have entangled us abroad rather than focused on America, have mistreated our allies, and a litany of other issues.

This Administration is underwater on virtually every issue of consequence as a result.

Americans right now just don't trust Trump and this Administration, and that loss of trust was earned.

a lot of that is due to Trump himself and the promises he made to fix things within a year - ie your energy bill will be cut in half.

Voter ID, the progressive right refuses to take the easy win by just requiring a government photo id to register. Instead, you need to bring a birth certificate, a passport to vote. It's a long drawn out process to get either updated. And what's funny about that is it will most likely affect married republicans women than anyone else, which is an incredible self own.

It's simple, the reason for requiring a birth certificate is to prevent illegals from voting which democrats and looks like some "independents" have a huge problem with. Crazy stuff I know to only want US citizens voting.

I'm sure if this gets passed the states that issue drivers licenses to non citizens will have no problem with issuing fake birth certificates.
