The driver allowed one car past, waved the next through but they were full of masked men without identification attempting to enter her vehicle. If she was trying to hit the man standing in front of her car, why would she reverse it and cut the wheels to try to get past him?

I honestly can't see how you watch that video and justify it as anything but cold blooded murder. No excuse to shoot a driver in the face multiple times through the door window.

They were clearly trying to get her to get out of the car and at least one shot was through the windshield proving he was in front of the car. Again you have no idea how you'd react in a split second decision like that.

When your car is in reverse and there is a federal officer directly in front of your vehicle, you should not put it in drive and then accelerate.

Multiple things can be true at once.

1. Putting a car in drive and hitting the gas when an officer is anywhere near your vehicle is incredibly dangerous.

2. Whether or not she meant to hit the officer is unfortunately irrelevant to split second life or death decision making process of the officer in the front of the vehicle.

3. The woman dying for her decisions is still a human tragedy.

4. Tim Walz is actively hoping this blows up to protect himself from his scandals and is an evil, evil man.

Spectrum had Tim Walz' news conference or whatever it was on yesterday for a longer period than they've ever had any type of Trump news conference on... didn't you hear him call upon Portland, Seattle, San Francisco and Chicago to stand behind "them". I only had it on in the background like I do whenever I work out of my home office, but I finally just had to turn it off. It was the most anti-American rhetoric I've heard out of anybody in a so-called leadership position in a long, long time - maybe ever.

A real leader should be for enforcing our laws - not openly encouraging people to flaunt them.

Your 2nd point is unfortunately the most important one.

I don't think that officer woke up yesterday and said , hey I'm going to shoot a citizen today", and the same can be said for this woman, she didn't wake up thinking I'm going to be too close with my car to ICE Agents so they dont know what my intent was.

I personally don't think she was trying to hit that agent. I'm willing to bet she never saw him because of the other agent at the drivers side window probably had her attention. We'll never know for sure.

Again just sad all around.

No, the agents weren't following protocol for stopping a car. Actual police are trained to not stand near the front of a car and to approach a car from the side/rear to provide them more safety and avoid this exact situation. Did ICE agents receive this training before they were thrust into the position of doing de facto crowd control?

Yes, it's very reasonable to ask if shooting her in the head was the appropriate response to her slowly pulling away.

This will absolutely get adjudicated, either civilly or criminally or both, and if it goes to trial a jury will decide if she was actually threatening deadly force, and whether the agents truly believed no other objectively reasonable means of defense were available.

It's clear cut she was threatening deadly force. For someone who knows so much about police training protocols, you sure are ignorant on what warrants deadly force.
