There are thousands of workers on this site. It's a huge project. 317 were South Korean workers from Hyundai. I suspect the other 150 are a combination of workers who are not legal, H1-Bs from other countries, and a small amount of Citizens who's only crime is being brown.

Of the 317, all of them can come back, only 185 have. So a project that will create thousands of those coveted manufacturing jobs are now delayed.

Yes, the US can revoke visas anytime they want.

What should've happened is that the State department calls the South Koreans and tells them to remove their people. Instead, these people are shackled and put in prison and treated like garbage by ICE.

It's a national embarrassment how these Korean workers were treated. I hope they win their lawsuit.

I assume, that the "worst of the worst" have now been deported or are in prison. So why are we going around pointing guns at guys finishing concrete driveways trying to just make a living, kidnapping people off the street, and throwing them in jail and treating them like they are all terrorists? We're treating the working man like they are murders and drug dealers. For what exactly?

I will tell you why, they gotta juke the stats so that the MAGA rubes can feel good about it. Much like some of the DOGE cuts, this will come back to haunt the US, "biggly"

Swing and a miss. I think it's clear I'm not a Democrat. You and your pal own that honor.

I for one am excited to finally see what's in the Epstein Files. Are you?

Not at all. I can't imagine what kind of person would be excited to read about underaged girls being raped. Damn dude.....

They completely ignored this for 4 years and now they suddenly care because they think they can get Trump! They've got him this time! Never mind testimony from the witness mentioned in the email saying Trump was never involved.

Democrats only released this to distract their minions from the reopening of a government that they want to keep closed to hurt people all to score a political win. It clearly worked.

I think it's all hilarious.

The Epstein Files petition was started by REPUBLICANS, and was waiting for the government to re-open, because Johnson refused to swear in the Dem who would be the final signature.

So quit bawling about the timing…. Republicans are the ones who chose for Epstein to be the issue the second the shutdown ended.

Bawling? I'm laughing my a$$ off at YOUR stupidity. Thanks for the quality entertainment and please continue.

Actually, it looks like Republicans are trying to pass the bill with a veto proof majority, so that's a lot of Republicans in on the "stupidity".

They are waiting on the email to instruct them what to think

You're the one desperately clinging to tweets for your talking points.

Guess what? Trump wasn't able to convince Boebert to pull her signature yesterday, so the discharge petition is now locked in. Speaker Johnson will be bringing up the Epstein vote next week.

Then you can bawl about who didn't vote for it. Hint: The no votes will be all Republican.

I'll be curious to see how many Republicans vote yes.

Just like with the upcoming health care bill debate, it's one thing to talk a big game on talk shows.

It's another to be forced to go on record with a vote, in this case that serves only to cover up for a pedophile.

On this we agree.

Yep they'll get him eventually!

So when JD and Kash repeatedly insisted for years the files needed to be released, were they trying to 'get him'?

Why have they had a sudden change of heart, you think? Why is Trump calling key Congressmen into the Situation Room to pressure them to not release the files?

Hard to look more suspicious and evasive than Trump and most Congressional Republicans have over the last few months WRT the files. It's only natural to wonder *** they're trying to hide.

Regardless, there's no 'getting' Trump at this point. He's not getting impeached, and he's not going to be held to any account legally for anything while he's in office.

But there's also no conscionable reason not to release the full files.

The reason that they "feel like" they have to cave to the radical left, is because they can't afford to lose any one single faction of their "coalition of misfits" if they want to win a national election... the smart thing for them to do would actually be to bite the bullet and move back towards the center as a party. Short term loss. Longer term gain.

But they aren't that smart...

Civ, no where in my believe structure is Trump some type of savior. He is a flawed person. Now, his positions are supported, for the most part, by me, and a whole bunch of people. Generally speaking, I think his positions are supported by more people than not. Typically people don't like the person as opposed to the policies.

His rhetoric is a 100% assault on the people you are referring too…. That's what some like to call, the Establishment!

I'm sure some patriotic American called in a tip because they don't understand the process.

Being brown - truth is truth, American citizens are being profiled and stopped by ICE and asked to see identification. That's some communist country bull**** right there and it shouldn't happen. If that makes me sound like a true liberal, then so be it. I make up my own mind on what I think is good or bad, and it's my opinion. If that makes me a liberal, then so be it.

Probably a good decision, on their part

No, it's not. The US, if it wants foreign investment in this country - which is a stated policy of this administration, they need to provide a favorable avenue for that to happen. Ejecting forcefully the subject matter experts that are needed to help foster this.

And you know that didn't happen, or, you are projecting?

These South Korean workers came to the US to build an EV battery plant. They left in shackles. They still want to know why - ABC News

"While we were detained, the guards' behavior was very negative. I understand that there's a power imbalance between detainees and guards. But they went beyond that. Making comments about Kim Jong Un, pulling their eyes sideways to mock Asians," he said, referring to the North Korean leader, even though the detainees were South Korean."

Because they're here illegally. These illegal people made a decision to screw over the people that are coming here legally. How much of our immigration courts are being clogged up from these illegals, slowing down the people trying to come here legally?

No, the vast majority of people crossing the border illegally did so because the system is broken and there is not enough visas to process the demand. I am perfectly fine with closing the border and deporting people with violent criminal behavior in the US. However, treating someone who has a traffic violation the exact same way as someone who has raped, robbed and murdered here in the United States is UNACCEPTABLE. FIX THE PROBLEM.

I don't understand why you can't have two different approaches to the issue. Republicans abhor policies that treat everyone in this country the same. The US is the best country in the world, we need to act like it. Treating everyone who came in here legally like the worst criminals in the world is some third world *****

I don't care about stats, some may…. I care about removing people who are here illegally. Yes, that includes people that have been here for some time. I don't care about the contribution they've may have provided. Now, I do care about families being torn apart, so, that is an issue. The solution… send them all back. If one is a Citizen, then get married and this is all rectified. You know… kind of like the Somalian House member.

I'm glad you don't care about stats, but the mindset of the entire administration down to the ICE officers is that the stats matter.

so, we took people with a H1B visa and sent them packing. Something had to tip them to make this move, right? Also… the being brown comment sounds like a true liberal. Don't do that. I know you're better.

I'm sure some patriotic American called in a tip because they don't understand the process.

so what? They called it in. Nobody has to act on a call. In this case they did. I'm not sure why this point is relavent.

If that makes me a liberal, then so be it.

i think we all know that labels are being used to divide us. So, since we are using labels, are these people green? No, they are brown because of the labels being used. Hokie, you can certainly make up your mind, good or bad, no doubt. I don't have to subscribe to your mind, right?

Probably a good decision, on their part

No, it's not. The US, if it wants foreign investment in this country - which is a stated policy of this administration, they need to provide a favorable avenue for that to happen. Ejecting forcefully the subject matter experts that are needed to help foster this.

hey, people can make their own decisions, right? So, I agree… the policies certainly appear to collide. That said, my opinion…. deportation trumps economic investment. Economic investment will happen organically if we left things to… happen! You know, free market.

And you know that didn't happen, or, you are projecting?

I don't condone people mocking others. If said can be proven…. They reprimand them.

so what? The system is broken is not an excuse for another to act illegally.

and there is not enough visas to process the demand.

Good! We have enough illegals here to shut down legal immigration for many years. It is what it is…

I am perfectly fine with closing the border and deporting people with violent criminal behavior in the US. However, treating someone who has a traffic violation the exact same way as someone who has raped, robbed and murdered here in the United States is UNACCEPTABLE. FIX THE PROBLEM.

Completely disagree! If one's first act when stepping onto the US land is illegal, then, nothing should make us feel good about their intentions. I'm sorry, I'm more hardcore on this even Trump. Oh… the problem has to start with the illegals, which they are doing!

you know, these people you are defending made a choice. I disagree with their choice. In fact, their choice needs consequences. Deport!

and…. I can disagree with the Admin on something, right?
