Good to see the democratic Senators finally realizing how stupid this shutdown they created was.

Some of the more practical ones, most are still vehemently opposed to giving in. They seem to think blue state electoral victories equals a mandate or something.

What did I say last week?

My apologies, I must have missed it.

Oh, nothing like that. I basically said the same thing that you just did... which one of those elections were the Republicans ever favored to win?

You're focused on winning or losing when the real analysis is how much districts shift right or left.

It's meaningful data when a party wins state elections that they haven't won in 20 years or more, or when districts that were Trump +25 shift left by 20 points, even they remain red, especially when that's part of a broad and consistent trend.

Civ, again, what you are doing is overanalyzing an off, off-year election. Next year is the key!

Now, since you are analyzing these results, why would Pubs not be so excited to come out to vote? What resource did the Pubs use to get people out to vote? What didn't they use?

Now, for my consistency, that so many liberals aren't willing to do... Trump should "NOT" be applauding the Stock Market. Generally speaking, his base doesn't recognize the correlation between it and their kitchen table reality.

Furthermore, I think I read where AI stocks had a P/E ratio in the range of 41. A correction will happen in that sector. Now, how much of that sector drives the major indices... well, I don't know. I don't follow it closely.

Everything is pointing to a correction soon...

Getting back to the topic, at hand... Why didn't people get out to vote? Why weren't they motivated? Please provide the data supporting your opinion, or just say its your opinion, without data...

I remember when he warned us what was happening when that fake poll out of Iowa was released a few weeks before the election... had to stop paying attention a long time ago unfortunately.

I remember when you warned us what was happening was the 2020 election was stolen based on late-night Spectrum News ticker changes...had to stop paying attention a long time ago unfortunately.

Serious question...do you really think the Administration is ignoring the election results?

If they were ignoring the results, why did Trump immediately start tweeting out stupid tweets about the affordability of Walmart Thanksgiving dinners five seconds after Mamdani won a race that he made almost totally about affordability?

These elections aren't an indicator of what will happen in 26 and 28 because so much can change between now and then, but they are an indicator of what's currently resonating with voters, and both parties will (or should) take note and adapt accordingly.

Just remember, each of the Pubs that lost are Establishment Pubs. They didn't ask nor didn't want the best get out to vote Republican to help. Those losses were in heavily Democratic areas, with Establishment Pubs. Plain and simple.

Like I said Civ, if this happens in 2026, then you can celebrate. In the meantime, celebrate the Fed Gov being opened. For me, I didn't care too much as the CR is an absolute joke. It another continuation of the Biden deficits. A deficit that Establishment Pubs help build!

Lol, nothing... except for:
  • Galvanizing a demoralized Dem base
  • Forcing Trump and Republicans to go the mat to prevent people from getting health care (and food, etc)
  • Making sure that everyone now knows who's 100% responsible for the upcoming health care misery about to sweep through red states
Keep spinning. Trump got his ass handed to him.

I'm not sure if you're serious but let's say you are. No one outside of your MSNBC bubble believes a word you said.

Dems are the party of hate and anger. Nothing changed that opinion given the way you loons acted.
It also showed something like 42 MILLION people on the government dole. It's clear democrats buy votes with other people's money. Get a job.
The up coming healthcare misery belongs to your guy, Obama. That should be intuitively obvious even to the most casual observer.

Your President Trump is grinning ear to ear tonight.

ok, here are two more Trump policies I disagree with...

  • Tariff rebate being tossed around
  • 50 year mortgage
regarding the 50 year mortgage, does the federal government regulate loan terms currently? Meaning who set the current standard terms of 5 and 30 years?

I also think they're bad ideas. Another might be one that my spouse highlighted to me this morning. Healthcare subsidies will continue, says Trump, just not through direct payment to insurance companies. We'll see if that one goes or not.

Both of these are terrible ideas. The tariff rebate checks are just rebranded stimulus checks that will only raise inflation.

The only winner for a 50 year mortgage is the lender. The math doesnt work at all

yea, I'm not sure how the Health Insurance can survive by sending money straight to the providers. First, I'm not a fan of any Government Heath Insurance subsidies; however, if we going to do it, then make people become accountable for their decisions, by giving them the money directly.

No surprise, really, we're all the victims of that sort of dishonesty, much like the BBC scandal which selectively edited Trump comments to inspire lefty loons with the notion that Trump tried to overturn an election on Jan 6th. A lot of good people suffered because of that vile hit piece.

and... watch this guys Instagram channel. He is completely exposing the paid agitators that permeate the lefts protest. This is not an organic act. This is an organized assault on all things we believe...

Protesting - an act that we hold as endearing. well, these leftist have turned this into a racket.

Organized Racketeering - we know who to do. we did it to the mafia.
