I was absolutely waiting for the opportunity to post that. Two things:

  • the Nobel peace prize committee can't help themselves. They gave Obama the prize in the same circumstance.
  • So, the committee couldn't do the right thing, so, the damn thing got thrown back in their face.

Read an interesting opinion piece the other day, sorry that I can't find a link for it….but the author was of the opinion that Trump is pushing for both wars to end, not so much for altruistic reasons, but because he's trying to clear the decks to focus on the main adversary, China.

Things are going to pick up with China but China may move 1st, possibly against Taiwan. China leadership is splintered too, so anything is possible. Xi is now weaker too. Trump is probably holding on the election fraud until some of the arrests have taken place and whatever civil disturbances we have. The EU doesn't want peace in Ukraine so look for an attempt to upset things there. The EU global elites wants war.

Absolutely!!!

Trump got all sides to consent, including Israel, and now has a plan moving forward that gets all parties in the Middle East involved to keep the peace. Will it hold? Who knows? That part of the world has been on fire for 4000 years, but there are signs that everybody is going to work together and make it work to the benefit of all.

The USA is not rebuilding the area, but the Middle Eastern partners are going to invest the money and hopefully make Gaza a great place to live and visit. Everybody wins!

What was the pivot? Netanyahu stupidly bombing Qatar followed by Qatar calling Trump and telling him the Gaza war is over? And then for good measure Trump building Qatar an airbase in the U.S.
