In that picture, how many of those people should be locked up?

Considering you would probably like all of the Antifa people locked up in Portland, then all of them at least getting arrested is the correct answer in that photo.

So, you think all of them?

BTW, why answer a question by trying to assert what somebody else may think? Just give your answer, right?

you have fallen for the same trap as I have. None of your actual opinions matter, we are avatars in a theater production of wokeism to be mocked and disdained for even thinking something different is better than the current fever blister we live in.

Did you realize you were making your buddy look like a lying fool? I saw the first iteration of this post.

"LOLOLOL"

So many funny things to say about Stephen Miller, but I ultimately decided to just keep it G rated. Wait, is a rabid mob beating police G rated?

Ever notice when ANYTHING does not go well for liberals they immediately turn to Jan6? It's their go to excuse for everything.

They sure as hell can't talk about their party so "look over there"!!1

Yes. When a riot breaks out, even if you stand there and do nothing, you are subject to arrest. You know why? Because there's a riot. If a riot starts and you do the thing you're supposed to do, which is walk away then you shouldn't be arrested.

Let me change the first part to, the consensus of this board in my opinion is that all the Antifa protesting at the ICE detention center in Portland should be arrested.

I prefer my government to govern, not make stupid memes. I guess my expectations are too high.

Actually, I like the fact they are showing how the left are a bunch of lunatics. Let the video show you…. You know, like the George Floyd video showed people. Wait, is someone going to argue the video was doctored?

You should see this video from Portland yesterday (it's graphic, click through to watch on YouTube). Every one of those lunatics should be in jail.

Lock them all up!

Now, the points on the video were not true. That said, lock them up! I've been consistent with that opinion on January 6th. Now, was there more stuff that happened that you may not admit? Possibly. Hopefully, those things, if true, will come out…

Which points on the video were not true?

The number of police deaths. The guy Siknick died from an unrelated illness…

They said five deaths, including MAGA protestors, not just police deaths. Which is correct. Siknick got pepper sprayed multiple times and brutalized, then that evening had two strokes that he died from a couple days later. Totally unrelated! The Capitol Police disagree with you.

Incidentally, four other Capitol Police that were there committed suicide within 7 months.

Your ability to dutifully pretend January 6th wasn't that big of a deal, no matter how many times the story you've been fed changes and contradicts itself, really is a wonder to behold. Anything to avoid the obvious.

Oh, but this Portland video of a few protesters on a corner holding signs while a group of cops drags one of them off shows the real lunatics! Riiiiiiiight.

Exactly.

If a firefighter has a stroke or heart attack while or shortly after fighting a fire, they obviously died in the line of duty. The stress of their duty was a precipitating event. It's been viewed this way for decades.

What are we even talking about? Why are we parsing the deaths of police that died while trying to keep other people safe from a violent mob?

Simple. There was no violent mob. What crowd there was, evidence coming out reveals they were deliberately steered and manipulated like sheep by an extraordinary number of plainclothes federal agents. And the only actual murder that day was a wrongly accused innocent shot by the Capitol police, whose family was finally compensated. If any of them actually committed suicide, I can see that kind of guilt for killing her being the driver. That's what we're talking about. You two alchemists seem to have transmuted your opinions into your facts, with apologies to Daniel Patrick Moynihan.

This is...detached from reality.

Nobody halfway rational watches the video of the mob attacking the capital and thinks "that's not a violent mob."

No, plainclothes agents weren't "steering and manipulating rioters like sheep." That's fantasy too.

Yes, of course the Trump Administration paid out to Ashley Babbit, because they appreciated her involvement in the riot that Trump himself encouraged.

Watch the video man. I'm sure the Capital police department doesn't agree.

What would you have had the police do in this last-ditch situation, as rioters smashed the glass doors that were the only thing between the Congressmen behind the police, and the mob on the other side of the doors?

Why are we sticking up for violent rioters and not the police defending the Capitol? That's some absolute up-is-down BS from the alleged "law and order" party.

I especially enjoyed the Werewolf-style "evidence coming out reveals...". How much of MAGA's entire worldview is built around evidence coming out any day now. I guess they missed Patel clarifying that plainclothes FBI were there for crowd control after the riot broke out, and to investigate the pipe bombs.

You know what we do have evidence of? As in, recorded phone calls, video, etc? The Proud Boys planning the Jan 6 attack days before with military precision. They were directing the crowd the day of. Which is why the leaders of the Proud Boys were convicted of seditious conspiracy. And then Trump pardoned them.

When you guys are hyperventilating on command at every tiny group of lefty protestors you see standing on a street corner holding signs and (gasp!) yelling, and then try to conflate them all with Antifa "terrorists" and cheer on Trump using that nonsense as a pretext to occupy every blue city with the National Guard, then yeah, January 6th comes in pretty handy for some perspective on what an actual riot looks like.

You have to clarify which "not go well thing for liberals" moment you're talking about.

1. The insurrectionist leaders in Chicago and Portland.
2. Biden administration using the FBI and CIA to spy on their political opposition.
3. Democrat candidate for AG in Virginia wishing his opponents children would die and thinking more police officers need to die in the line of duty.

There is a **** pile of news on the left side of the aisle these days, but the usual suspects want to cry about Jan 6th.

Imagine if we were on here defending rioters rioting and attacking cops and lambasting cops taking action to defend themselves and local leaders during the George Floyd protests (with the important and obvious distinction being that Biden didn't actively encourage those protests due to his own self-interests).

We'd get laughed out of here, and rightfully so.
