Listen, I don't have a real opinion on the Jones Act, because I haven't really understood the impact. That said, if it's all about allowing more imports to come in easier, and taking away more manufacturing jobs, then I'm ok with it.

The necessity of more imports, on products being assembled here in the US, is my main complaint. Some of those components have high skilled labor doing the research, design, etc oversees. At one point, those higher skilled jobs were right here.

I say we outsource project management on construction sites to AI, or any other third world country. Makes sense because the labor is cheaper... It wont be long before your job is no longer needed locally. Will you have a different opinion?

What's wrong with fast food restaurants? They get a salary, they get health benefits, they learn skills necessary to take the next step if they choose to do so. There are so many examples of McDonalds employees starting as fry cooks and becoming franchise owners. Same with Chic-fil-a.

Those jobs are also many times safer than manufacturing. You're the one who sounds elitist thumbing your nose at quality service jobs.

I would love to see an AI project manager working to wrangle the cats on a project site. It would be the worst run project in the history of construction.

Trump asked Bondi to release some of the "grand jury testimony, if she can"... because he knows judges will wrangle over that for years. One more thing, I watch Fox and Friends from 6:00 to 7:00 or so, each morning. They haven't touched this issue about the Tulsi release of files. I wonder why?
