This is simply a myth. The warnings were there. The weather service did their job.

The issue thay caused this problem is a local issue. Kerr County voters decided not to install a local alarm system. Maybe that will change now. But cutting taxes and spending on the Federal level didn't cause a flood or kill anyone.
