The rule just needs to be - and bear with me here - if people break the law and there's enough evidence to charge them, then charge them and adjudicate the matter.
That's true for Columbia cosplayers, social justice rioters, Jan 6'ers, illegal immigrants, Bill and Sally that live next doo, and yes even the President of the United States.
If you play stupid games you need to win stupid prizes no matter who you are.
