I'm not Trump's biggest fan though I believe he's doing needed things. But I'm not going to credit him for lower prices just yet, many forces outside of him are at work. Right now, new optimism masks individual debt burdens, several subprime credit crises, a commercial real estate crisis still ongoing, immense government debt, and a pressing need to finance that debt.
Much of those problems caused by Joe Biden. Trump inherited a stinking mess. There is a good chance that things will get worse before they get better. The MSM and all the Dem's will try to blame Trump, but he was left with a dumpster fire by a dementia ridden President who had no idea what he was signing.
Being an N. C. State fan builds great character!

For those of us that actually went to NCSU....

Between losing East Village.... the Oyster Bar......

It is great to see that some of the folks on this thread have no damn idea about loyalty.

Most of all... loyalty to the damn USA.

I'm sure the 3 blind mice will be upset with this news. I'll even cut n paste it for #Nappy.

Gas-prices dropped for a third straight week.

Egg prices are dropping like a rock.

New jobs for native born workers finally outpaced foreigners for the first time in a year.

There were 10,000 new manufacturing jobs after Biden averaged a loss of 9,000/mo.

Trillions of dollars in new foreign direct investment in high tech industries and auto manufacturing.

Government workers lost 10,000 jobs in February vs. last two years of Biden where one-in-four new jobs created under Biden were government jobs.

Tariffs will cause short-term ups and downs, but they also have the potential to force huge, long term benefits.

Trust the process.

A made in America economic boom is the prize.

Our liberal friends are not going to like that. They rather this mean, unfair, unjust country fail than to prosper.

A 10 minute discussion with General Flynn for a big picture view. The threats to the leaders of the patriot movement as they cover the disclosures about the global criminality and our corrupted and compromised govt and institutions. A very important discussion to hear.

Who knows more about this than a General Flynn.......maybe none and probably few with the knowledge and understanding of Flynn.

Also, check out Tucker Carlson's interview of General Douglas McGregor. The discussion would be related.

We're starting to see the real enemies.

Here's one for you Dems…

So, the Democrats didn't get the votes for the CR, passed by the House. The House has left DC for the weekend or more, I don't know…. Now, consider this… When is the government shutdown?

While we are in the shutdown, the OMB and Doge will have to prioritize expenditures, right? Will they start to shut down more agencies, while the government is shutdown? Did Schumer and team get played?

I don't know the answers; however, this does provide for an interesting scenario…
I'm surprised this post didn't get more traction…. Thoughts?

1 Not a liberal
2 Not routing for the country to fail, didn't do that with Obama or Biden
3 I don't like some of Trumps policies and I have a passion for some stuff that has been cut. Being critical about some things doesn't mean I'm critical of all things.
4. Then there's just stuff I put on here that I actually find humorous that you guys get all butt hurt about.

So there you go, I hope everything works out economically and we all become rich beyond our wildest dreams, but I havent seen an explanation economically from the administration that proves that will happen.

Cutting DOE - awesome,
But I also need to see how they handle Pell Grants and special education federal laws.

Cutting IRS - good, but need to also spend money to make that agency more efficient and customer friendly.

Cutting SSA - good, same as. iRS.

cutting USAID - overall good, my concern is China gaining influence in areas abandoned.

Tariffs - not good.

Executive Orders - not good, Congress should do their job.

Were, that's just flat out untrue. Hokie and I disagree on a few issues; however, nothing he stated is going to threaten the survival of this republic.

Now, for others on here… you statement is probably more appropriate…

Refusing to understand the truth is a threat. Just like I've said about FOX NEWS in the past, they tell the half-truth and then lead us away from the significant part of the overall truth. His petulance and continued whining about peripheral issues is exposing him for the blowhard that he really is.

The criminality of what our country is infested with should easily be the primary issue. With the leaders of our movement under increased threat, we've got jokers like #daGobbler whining with his attempts to focus discussion on peripheral issues that he thinks he understands. He wants to be right, but he continues to be embarrassingly wrong.

We have a war of survival to win. Great things lie in store for America just on the other side of a complete victory. No half-wins, not deals and no armistice! Complete and utter victory should be the only option.

Listen to the podcasts interviewing General Flynn (10 min) and General Douglas Macgregor, they discuss our real enemies.

Not that my heart bleeds but Schumer seems to be in an impossible situation… he's competing with the largest Trump, er, megaphone in the world. "The Schumer Shutdown." He has to put up a show of force because the crazies are swamping the blue caucus phones with demands to stop Trump. If he forced a shutdown, he just provided cover for Trump regarding anything going wrong that could normally be attributed to DOGE. Anything goes wrong, Trump shouts "Schumer shutdown!!" And if anything goes colossally wrong, Senate seats in Georgia, New Hampshire and Michigan are in play next year, to name a few.

Wow!! Were, you know I like a lot of what you post; however, that sounds like an unhinged person, right there…

Yes, I agree that we have an undercurrent that destroying the country, from within. Yes, I think some of the DOGE findings are exhibiting samples of those undercurrents. Yes, I think some of those undercurrents are tied into all the NGO's moving money around. Yes, I think Louden County, VA is wealthy because of the NGO's.

Now, tying Hokie to those "infesting" our country is really unhealthy…. Smapty, on the other hand…

I think we are actually going to see whether Dems, without any control, of any part, of the Federal Government has any power. Remember, I said Speaker Johnson should play significant hardball, prior to the election. Most (if I remember correctly) said (I paraphrase): you can't dictate what's going to happen when you only hold 1/2 of 1/3 of the Federal Government.

Let's see how much power 0/2 of 1/3 of the Federal Government has…. It may surprise us..

Were, money can be used for good or evil. Narcissistic abuse of money, especially within the Federal Government, brings out the evil.

There were plenty of American settlers in the late 1700s that supported the king of England and wished to continue as British citizens. They were called Tories. They weren't charged with treason but the undesirable # of them made it much more difficult for Washington' army to defeat the British. You are today's Tory.

Tariffs - not good.

Executive Orders - not good, Congress should do their job.

DOE and SSA probably have some administrative bloat even though the blind chainsaw act by the DOGE teens is stupid.

But why is cutting the IRS good when IRS was arguably understaffed before, and we have a need to collect more revenue not less?

Why was axing USAID good except for the little matter of opening doors for adversarial influence in developing nations? That's like saying the disease treatment wasn't bad except for the part where the patient died. Influence by our adversaries in developing nations is distinctly disadvantageous from statecraft and strategic perspectives, the humanitarian benefits of USAID completely aside.

"Elon Musk's Department of Government Efficiency has repeatedly posted error-filled data that inflated its success at saving taxpayer money. But after a series of news reports called out those mistakes, the group changed its tactics.

It began making its new mistakes harder to find, leaving its already secretive activities even less transparent than before."

IRS needs a major overhaul. My hope, is that this cut leads to a bit of innovation there to improve customer service.

USAID lost its way with its mission. Folding it under the state department is the right thing to do.

Have you come across any good articles about USAID losing its way? I've seen normal partisan whining on here and on X about USAID being a mad-lib Frankenstein agency but not any articles or reports that have actual meat on the bone.
