smart move, freeze everyone's tax returns so the govt collects interest on more of your money. Then. Without people to actually process tax returns, or answer your questions, it'll take even longer!!Werewolf said:🚨 BREAKING: President Trump plan to FREEZE the IRS for 90 days to find fraud in addition to FIRING 45,000 IRS Agents.

Hopefully Trump will get this flag back to you guys before you go marching in your next pervert parade. I'd hate to see you two all sad and stuff.
As for Trump's position on LGBTQ right now, what I see now is Trump waging total war on this transgender insanity - banning men competing in women's sports, an Executive Order saying there are only 2 genders.
Your "criticism" of Trump here is pretty weak. Trump is now a staunch enemy of the Marxist Left's Satanic transgender agenda.

So much winning on Monday. Mission accomplished. Republicans hate this country. That's why they voted for this moron.
Besides, the stock market is not the "real" economy that impacts the average person. What is the unemployment rate? I think it's pretty low last I checked. And gas prices have actually been coming down. Etc

If the average person is a "day (or short term) trader" sure it impacts them. If you have a few years left until you use the money and are reinvesting dividends, you are buying more shares. This is typically not a negative impact.. I think the average person is more into reinvestment than short term trading.wolf5 said:GuerrillaPack said:And it will go back up 1,000 points tomorrow. Wrong.
It does impact the average person.
You do realize Elmo fired a fair amount of govt employees this quarter so the unemployment numbers are not accurate.

Let's see where unemployment goes. A measure that is reported often. Are you saying people spend less because they do not have a job (layed off) or because they are worried about the stock market. If trump can manipulate the stock market so much so quick he can turn it the other way. Especially if all about tariffs.wolf5 said:Cthepack said:If the average person is a "day (or short term) trader" sure it impacts them. The trickle down effect when the stock market is not doing well impacts everyone. Companies will start laying off. People spend less. It impacts everyone. Also, Trump used to say the stock market was the real indicator of how he was doing running the country but now I guess tariffs are more important?

Because in Trumps Address to Congress he wants to "invest" in commercial ship building to increase our production of naval vessels. I feel that the Jones act has created this problem, by limiting competition in ship building, and therefore it takes longer and it is more expensive to build a naval vessel.
I'm quite possibly wrong, as I'm not in that industry so I'd love to hear your perspectives. I generally hate the Jones Act.
