This was an attempt by the EU elite/deep state to hornswaggle/bum-rush Team Trump with the EU's desire to continue the Ukrainian war (while knowing that Team Trump wants to end the war), seeking a de facto military commitment from the U.S. via NATO. Team

Trump was not having any of that, clearly.

Team Trump essentially sent a explicit message back to the EU elites - to include Germany - the war in the Ukraine will end, and it will be on U.S. terms, not the EU elite/leadership's terms.

Yes, Trump/JD were argumentative, but hoooooooooo buddy Zelensky is in a world of trouble.
