Zelensky is a gay comedian puppet tyrant who cancelled elections in Ukraine. And we should bankrupt the United States and cause massive inflation by sending this clown hundreds of billions of dollars??

How does funding this war help the American people and bring down the price of eggs?

It's what needs to be said…
it's a lie
It's the truth

Cary are you seriously trying to say that Ukraine started this war?

Who do you think started this war?
Russia. Invasions usually start a war
Were they provoked?
Both were sabre rattling at each other. Russia invaded sovereign territory. By that action, they started the war

Yes.

Putin was provoked by having a Western-style democratic sovereign nation bordering Russia.

What's your point?

If you invaded a sovereign nation, you started the war and to suggest otherwise, especially given how Putin was "provoked" is comical.

Russia definitely started the conflict, our obsession with Ukraine joining NATO sure didn't help but they're the ones that invaded.

Biden could have ended it 2-3 years ago, with much more favorable territory for Ukraine. But alas, Dems are pro war now and continued a non winnable war that caused millions of lives. End the war. Stop funding the murders of generations of Ukrainian and Russian men.

The history behind Ukraine joining NATO, as well as, the sovereign land that Russia felt they owned had a lot to do with this. Now, I agree… Russia did go into the land, twice, and yes, that is the beginning of the kinetic war.

Unfortunately, for the people of Ukraine, all the loss is going to net them losing the land they wanted to fight about. Now, if the Eurasian countries want to keep this going, then… so be it.

Estonia and Latvia, both on Russia's border, have been NATO countries for 20 years. Finland, by far the longest shared border with Russia, just joined. Why didn't Russia invade them before they joined?

Ukraine had been asking to join NATO for a decade, and NATO wouldn't give them the time of day. There was no "obsession". It only realistically became a consideration after Russia invaded.

So yeah, the "OMG we totally provoked Russia" rationale is nonsense.

Meh. It's disingenuous to pretend Ukraine will not be at the negotiating table. Once Z gets his ass off his shoulders and stops dictating what the bank (USA) is going to do, he'll be invited in.

He should definitely not be their leader anymore though. This is as much his mess as it is Putin's. As the loser, he needs to pound sand.

NATO gave certain guarantees to Ukraine, once they rid themselves of nuclear. Those guarantees never fortified and Ukraine was rightfully asking. The world let Ukraine down. The persistence caused an issue, and we have what we have…

I was watching Rick Grennel being interviewed last night. He said they have met with Ukraine representatives multiple times without Russia, in the room. He said they have been having diplomatic meeting trying to find common ground.

He finds it funny how all the hysteria is being brought up when the Russia meeting happened. Why not the have hysteria when they met with Ukraine privately?

When and why are Democrats now the pro war party?

Oh, right…because you are brainwashed by MSNBC and the libtard propaganda media to hate Putin because of the Russian collusion hoax made up by Hillary and the Democrats.

Regardless of whether Putin is a tyrant or not, the United States should not be involved, much less bankrupting our own nation to fund the war.

No, but our country is flooded with Russian disinformation. Russia even brags about it. About half of the crap Werewolf posts comes from them, and it's even coming out of the mouths of Republican politicians, particularly since Trump came on the scene. Because obviously Ukraine is a democratic ally and Russia isn't.

Why are some on the right hellbent on re-litigating the profoundly obvious differences between Ukraine and Russia and both-sidesing an issue when the Western world so dramatically benefits by accurately characterizing Putin as the murderous imperialist oligarch he is?

Try to keep up.

I was responding to Cary's question:

"Why not the have hysteria when they met with Ukraine privately?"

The answer is obvious; we shouldn't be treating Ukraine and Russia dispassionately like they're the same thing or like Russia didn't invade Ukraine or like Putin isn't a war criminal.

And we definitely shouldn't be calling Zalensky a "dictator" and blaming Ukraine for starting the war like Trump is doing, but here we are.
