Not to split hairs, but there was an entire tome written by Mueller documenting the obstruction of justice (you know, innocent guy stuff) that prevented them from gathering the evidence to even have an opinion about Russian collusion.

Mueller pointed out 140 "W T F?" secret contacts, but didn't get very far, so to say there wasn't evidence isn't exactly correct.
