USAID is done. From their website:

On Friday, February 7, 2025, at 11:59 pm (EST) all USAID direct hire personnel will be placed on administrative leave globally, with the exception of designated personnel responsible for mission-critical functions, core leadership and specially designated programs. Essential personnel expected to continue working will be informed by Agency leadership by Thursday, February 6, at 3:00pm (EST).

For USAID personnel currently posted outside the United States, the Agency, in coordination with missions and the Department of State, is currently preparing a plan, in accordance with all applicable requirements and laws, under which the Agency would arrange and pay for return travel to the United States within 30 days and provide for the termination of PSC and ISC contracts that are not determined to be essential. The Agency will consider case-by-case exceptions and return travel extensions based on personal or family hardship, mobility or safety concerns, or other reasons. For example, the Agency will consider exceptions based on the timing of dependents' school term, personal or familial medical needs, pregnancy, and other reasons. Further guidance on how to request an exception will be forthcoming.

Both of those are true based on what we know now. Neither is a "right wing rumor". The rumor aspect would be that USAID no longer being funded caused Politico to be unable to pay their employees.

I posted this in the January 6th thread because Fauci had been brought up. I will post it here now and the flood of corruption is being exposed.

Oh Fauci is in a world of hurt right now and Liz's dad Dick may be soon. Seems Dick was working with Fauci back in the early 2000's on some of the gain of function stuff. I had always been a Dick Cheney fan until the last couple of years. Boy was I wrong.

Rand Paul is now the Chairman of the Homeland Security Committee. He is going to call Fauci to testify and he has to testify. There can be no pleading the 5th amendment because he has been pardoned for crimes since 2014. If he lies again with his testimony as he did before, then he can and most likely will be charged with perjury. They may even go back to 2001 for his crimes if the statute of limitations has not run out. Another treasonous *******.

Here is Glenn Beck's podcast from today. Listen to the last hour with Matt Kibbe. He has a continuing documentary on the corruption in D. C. Episode 4 is to be released next week and if they put it on Youtube, I will link it.

Once you hear what he has to say today, you will be ashamed and disgusted at what your government has done with your tax money. We, the American Taxpayers funded the Wuhan lab and unfortunately Covid 19 and other things. The corruption runs deep and has done some very nasty things all over the world. Includes those on both sides of the aisle. We the People have fallen asleep, but some are going to get a very rude awakening soon.

Oh it appears to be accurate. If not then I will retract it.

People going crazy about what Trump said yesterday about taking over Gaza. Don't listen to Trump's words and take them literally. He is negotiating through the media. That status quo in Gaza has been death and destruction and Trump is trying to change that. If the people of Gaza would wake up and stop electing Hamas to run it's area, then things could be cleaned up and a "normal world" might happen for these people. Maybe the Saudi's or other countries from that area would invest of Hamas was not involved.

Trump is just putting ideas out there to change the culture of death and destruction. Would he put a hotel there if it came to that. He just might do that, but he wants to end the endless violence of that area.
