Hell yeah. Get them out of here.

This is not good. Not good at all.

Why is this not good? Please try and help me see your position…
First Amendment to start with. I DO NOT want the government saying who I can be for or against.
I don't think there is anyone on this board who wants that.
They have the right to protest for or against Israel or anyone if that's what they want to do.

This is dangerous. No freedom loving American can be for this. I don't care what your political beliefs are.

Immigrants here on a visa don't necessarily have the same rights as citizens. I have no problem with people expressing themselves; hell, we have plenty of stupid Dems doing that already. That said, it's a privilege to come to the US and get an education. So, for that, follow the laws, be respectful, get an education, then go home.

If a person wants to become a US citizen, apply and go through the process. Now, I'm not saying we should haphazardly treat people poorly; rather be mutually respectful and everything will be ok…
I don't have a problem with what you are saying, I even agree.

But protesting is as American as apple pie. No President or government gets to decide what is a good protest and what isn't.
It's total BS.

Nothing what Biden did or tried to do compares to this, IMO.

The First Amendment most definitely applies to non-citizens here on a visa. Apparently you didn't know that and Trump doesn't care. He just has to put on a show... if it weren't for the "Deep State" striking down his unconstitutional nonsense in a day he totally would have gotten so much more done than just another rich guy tax cut!

I guess what I was saying is protesting is not against the law. Yes, they should follow the law, but Trump didn't say that. He said you couldn't even support those groups or risk being deported. That's UnAmerican.

Because it undoes the 4 year planned and concerted effort of "importing of future voters" to be automatically dependent upon the Democratic Party for ongoing entitlements...
Your statement makes no sense whatsoever. Quit grasping for something and stand up when something is wrong.

Shocking editorial from politico.

I don't think the TDS boys on here got this message.
"That is because they can no longer place confidence in a strategy that once looked plausible but now has been exposed as illusion. They cannot push Trump to the margins, by treating him as a momentary anomaly or simply denouncing him as lawless and illegitimate."

Calling all Water Cooler evangelicals! I need your help to solve a mystery.

Any idea why Trump refused to put his hand on the Bible the other day during his swearing in? Suddenly I'm wondering if it was in fact God who sent him to make America great again.

I think he simply forgot to put his hand on the Bible, probably because he's so used to raising his right hand in court.

Not who wrote it.

The courts will decide whether this executive order holds. I sure hope it does.

No surprise you're linking from a proud "Never Trump" site that supported Kamala though.

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bulwark_(website)

Here's a podcast from the Bulwark about how Kamala ran a damn good campaign.

Here they are talking about how Kamala nails the final ad against Trump.

Here's the website launcher interviewing Kamala and Liz Cheney before the election. https://www.reddit.com/r/thebulwark/s/yvvvwk1fBw

No wonder you so proudly said you were voting for Kamala and were so confident Trump would lose. Lol.

All this winning has to be killing you.

The Birth Right citizenship is going to be an interesting one, for sure… for those that think it's clear what the Constitution says, I think you need research what "and subject to the jurisdiction thereof" means…. This is supposedly wording from the debate on the amendment…

Realsouthwolf

There does seem to be that an argument can be made on the wording on the 14th amendment.

That's why we have the Supreme Court. They can decide it.
packgrad

A theme on social media has been the outrage about the deportations of the violent criminals, and how we've known where they were all along. The Biden administration, and Democrats, just did not want to deport them.

Rapists, child molesters, murderers, etc. Democrats thought they should stay.

Awful.

A lot more than one Senator was involved in passing the 14th Amendment, and whatever his intent may have been, it wasn't written into the text that everyone else voted on. This is fever swamp nonsense, but we have to pretend an argument can be made. Who knows with this Supreme Court, though? They have a long history now of head scratching decisions for "the cause".

Anyway, here's a fun experiment. See if you can prove your own citizenship right now. You'll quickly notice that your parents' birth certificates don't have a "citizen" box on them. Centuries of record keeping has relied on the assumption of birthright citizenship. Get rid of it, and congratulations, birth certificates aren't enough. You're citizenship is now in question. Yes, you!

Everyone in the country would need to go through an expensive process of combing government records looking for proof of their ancestors' naturalization, and a new huge bureaucracy would need to be created, along with a new form of "citizenship" id.

And of course the whole "no birthright citizenship starting now" thing is nonsense. That'd require a new amendment. A decision that ditches birthright citizenship but somehow grandfathers everyone in would be as "legislating from the bench" as you can get.

Why did they even have a ss detail to begin with? Shouldn't have happened. Plus. F Bolton. And the jfk/rfk/mlk thing was a campaign promise that he said he'd do day one so he's a little late but on it. Now we need the Epstein docs released. Unredacted.

Given your inability to articulate an actual argument ever, I'm gonna assume you're a non-citizen. Gonna need to see some proof. None of that "my grandparents were born here" birthright citizenship crap allowed.
Realsouthwolf
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm torn on the birthright citizenship. Like most people, I never questioned it, its just what we do.
But in looking into other countries, I think only 34 countries have birthright citizenship, but most of those have a requirement that one or both of the parents be a citizen.
And most of the countries are in the Western Hemisphere which people say is because of colonization. IDK.

I have some Chinese friends who used a surrogate in Macon, GA to have a baby. This baby is 100% Chinese, but because she was born here, she is an American. Has a passport.
I saw her a few months ago while in China. She loves telling everyone she is an American!! Only 6 years old.

This is one of the examples that should be questioned, IMO. I don't blame the parents, they followed the law. But not sure if this was intended when the amendment was added.
