Video from the Republican Senate candidate from Wisconsin discussing the election fraud…

99% of an alleged 4 AM ballot dump went to the other party and you "may challenge?"

RIIIIGGHTTTT...

You'd challenge that 100 times out of 100, if you weren't a male Kari Lake trying to grandstand on fake fraud claims that is.
Precisely why is it a fake fraud claim?

Precisely because the allegedly aggrieved candidate isn't even actually contesting the results, he's just grandstanding and whining because he lost.

Mike Johnson doesn't even think it's real.

Been pleased with Trumps moves until today. Dont think DOGE is bad in theory, but its a new layer of government bureaucracy.

Noem shouldnt be anywhere near the cabinet.

Pete is a massive risk, IMO. Especially given the state of the world.

Re DOGE, I don't see that at all. It has an end date of 7/4/26. Part of its role is eliminating bureaucracy and waste.
You dont see the precedent being set? Version one of DOGE may end then, but what happens the next time a Dem takes control of the executive branch?

I'd be thrilled if Dems too tried to eliminate redundancy and waste.
I have zero faith in either party of sticking to that mandate

All for it. Hell, if this had been part of his 2016 campaign, Id have voted for him then. Instead, he signed every single spending bill that came across his desk during his first term. I am just extremely skeptical of any government department doing what they set out to do. If this drastically cuts back on government waste, Ill be thrilled. I just have a hard time reconciling that adding a new bureaucracy is going to help efficiency in the long run.

I see where you're coming from. I'm probably foolishly hoping for the best. Hopefully the new blood in there follow the mission statement.

He also shut down the government for 5 weeks from December 22nd, 2018 to January 25th, 2019. This was on the Paul Ryans and the Mitch McConnells of the Republican party. He wanted to to pass a budget instead of the Continuing Resolution.

The new DOGE led by Elon and Vivek is supposed to only last until July 4th of 2026 for America's 250th anniversary. I don't know if either is being paid because they are both billionaires, but this is not going to be a new Cabinet Department. Hopefully they will get in there and get rid of all the waste and I believe they will try to do that. All the obstacles will be thrown at them, but if they can cut the size of the U. S. Government by 25-50% it will be well worth what it costs.

I think he will. Trump got a commitment, from Thune today. Either through a swift confirmation and/or recess appointments. As soon as he got the commitment, Trump released the Gaetz appointment.

Trump outflanked the Senate Republicans!

Here is a post that he can do it and looks like he might. If it's Constitutional, then I am all for it and it appears to be.

https://t.me/Jack_Posobiec/53035

"Hope it's wrong, but I am hearing through the grapevine about this bonkers plan: Trump would adjourn both Houses of Congress under Article II, section 3, and then recess-appoint his cabinet.

Edit: I think it's section 2 of Article II, not section 3 as he noted.

Other than being a terrible human being. The Gaetz choice sucks because he's a big Lina Khan fan. Lina Khan is equally terrible in her role.

actually I'm wrong Cary, Gaetz just resigned from the current congress, not the new one. He's probably not going to get confirmed.

Vivek Ramaswamy's plan for the US government is almost too good to be true. He's going to eliminate 75% percent of the government. Listen closely to what he has been planning for over a year:
-He will eliminate 75% of government employees, 50% in the first year.
-He wants to shut down the FBI, the ATF, the CDC, the Department of Education, and the IRS.
-He already has a plan to bypass the slow legislative agenda in Congress.
-He wants anti-government bulldogs in positions of power.
-He will help grow the economy by shutting down all of the unnecessary and bloated bureaucracy without having to touch Social Security or Medicare.
-The failed Department of Education will be shut down.
And this is just the beginning. It's going to get so good.

Third patronizing post on Gaetz. Hope you're right this time, conservative hokie!!

Correction. FOURTH. Surely this is accurate though. It's not like they miraculously came up with a report a as soon as Gaetz was announced? It's not like the media has a history of lying about Trump/Trump appointees. I'd expect civ to be the giddy one about this report, not conservative hokie.

There's something not in public view here. Thune and Trump got into it over 2020. Trump wanted Noem to primary him but she refused…and he still brought her into his admin…knowing Trump, that should have disqualified her. Thune doesn't face the voters for another four years but now he's center stage if he crosses Trump again.

Gaetz is a scumbag and a bum. I hope he gets fired into the sun. Just because Trump likes him, you like him. I get it.

All in all, Trumps done a real good job with his picks. I'm intrigued by Sec of Defense. This one is terrible. Gaetz should not be confirmed.

Yeah. I really don't care what you think about any of his picks. You cheerleaded how he was going to lose the presidency and subsequently cause republicans to lose the house and the senate. Too bad, sport. You lost. So kindly, **** off with your opinions on his picks.
Just saw this post on X and thought of you
