My point to Chem is that the media is going to act exactly the same way they did with Trump, even if the next Republican isn't Trump... so what exactly are we solving with the tone of the country if we purposefully avoid Trump?
He just doesn't seem to get it... or maybe just refuses to admit that he does get it. He just wants to hold onto this Utopian Dream that doesn't exist anymore, and he blames that on Trump - when it wasn't ever Trump to begin with.
That's kind of my point! He says he voted for trump and agrees with this policies, but bags everything about him. Yet, he okay with the current guy, because he presidential, even though he's one of the worst presidents ever, and doesn't agree with his policy.
I just don't understand that mindset in people. This whole presidential thing is so out of touch with today's reality.
Yeah...i don't get it either....since you brought up tolerating things for the team concept, I'd love to see Coach Doeren walk into his locker room and repeat Trumps C'ville comments --- the ones you shared -- with the whole team. I mean, slice of America, right?
Then, when finished, tell the team they were "great comments". And see the reaction. I'm sure everyone would be understanding and would get his back in the locker room. Those who decided they could no longer support him...they are just players who were out of touch, right?
So according to you, everybody in Charlottesville that day was a neo nazi?
Are you sure you don't work in the media? Cause you make some assertions that just aren't stated.
I'm not sure anyone has ever said everyone in Cville was that. I explained my view last night -- you clearly must not have read it. To me -- when someone has been killed in a racially sensitive moment, is not hte right time to get into a p'ing contest with a reporter about good people and bad people.
But I get it, to you and others, its all about not getting pushed around by the media, so reads like you agree with his approach, instead of what a POTUS should do -- which is try to lead.
No, I'm inferring logic. You and CNN are saying that he referred to the neo nazis as nice people, and that there is no way he was referring to the others that were simply there to oppose the statue being removed. The nice people comment was only toward neo nazis. So, if there's no way that is possible, there could only be neo nazis present. Correct?
No.....you are completley missing what I thought was a very easy point. By the time he got into nice guys / bad guys debate, he'd screwed up. There was no reason to try to differentiate when a man had just been killed. Leave that for another day when things are calmer.
The message should have been simple --- there was clearly a contingent of hate groups here -- and we are not going to tolerate that. I will empower my AG to go after those individuals who comprise those groups and the people who fund them.
**At that point, probably shouldn't have specified names of groups, but as a followup, broadcast the Neo Nazis, the Antifa, and several others, who I think the average American can agree are bad people.
